Decepcionante. + La ubicación − - El desayuno, no había nada de variedad y depende de la hora a la que vayas puede que no repongan. - El servicio de limpieza brilla por su ausencia, no pasaron por la habitación durante nuestra estancia.

No fun allowed in here… + Personally I thought the pool was very unhygienic and unclean, with debris everywhere alongside the pool and black stuff floating in the water. As well as no lifeguard seen anywhere. The security was very unhelpful, constantly speaking /shouting at us in Portuguese, being very intimidating and rude as I nor none of my friends can understand Portuguese. We all had a terrible experience with this hotel and do not advise a group of girls to stay here.

Staff very nice, but need to get the basics right. + The location was good − Towels eventually changed on the 3rd day but towels were of poor quality. Had to buy additional toilet rolls. The hotel smells of drains. Room cleaning was very late again on the 3rd day of our stay.

Good location and clean hotel. + It was clean, the grounds were well maintained, the pool area was good. The two room apartment was spacious and the kitchen area was well equipped. It had two balconies. The beds were comfortable. − The hotel has a bar that was never open and a restaurant that was never open which is a shame. As such it lacked atmosphere.

Clean, Friendly and Good Value for the Price + Overall, Ondamar was a nice place to stay and we had no major complaints. The hotel and reception area were clean and were regularly being cleaned throughout our stay. Our room was also kept clean, with housekeeping coming around every other day, which was perfectly fine for us. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything. It’s not a luxury hotel, but I think the price reflects that. For what we paid, the standard of the accommodation and overall experience was fair. If you’re looking for somewhere clean, friendly and reasonably priced without expecting anything too fancy, Ondamar does the job well. Overall, a pleasant stay and good value for the price.

Estadia agradável, mas não corresponde a 4 estrelas + A localização − Não haver funcionários portugueses para resolver problemas de canalização. A banheira estava entupida com cabelos e a máquina de lavar loiça, não funcionava. A luz da casa de banho estava sempre a piscar.

On its arse. + Pool, bar and mini golf are good. However the hotel its self is very dated. There’s no money getting put into this, it’s as if they’re leaving it to rot. We had a leak in our room, water coming through the ceiling expect it was from the water tank because we were on the top floor. It took around 12 hours for them to sort this problem. And then they still had the cheek to keep 50 euro from a deposit because we lost a room card. The staff were not very helpful, when asked the cleaner to clean our room, it still did not get cleaned until the last day. We had a line of ants coming through our room from the first day. If I was looking for somewhere for my family then I would not choose this hotel.

Hotel antiquado com algumas falhas relevantes. + A piscina, mini golfe e jardins impecáveis. − Pequeno-almoço muito limitado e sem self-service. Apenas café, leite, sumo de laranja, salsicha, bacon, ovo e tostas. Bar e restaurante fechados e bar de apoio à piscina prestava todo o serviço de hotelaria, sem as condições apropriadas para pequeno-almoço, almoço ou jantar. No geral, tudo o que se refere a refeições era limitado e inapropriado. Quarto antiquado. O hotel tem alguns pormenores interessantes, como o minigolfe, ginásio, piscina interior e exterior, mas não merece as 4 estrelas e o preço.

A great few days away with friends + Pool area was well maintained, our room was good, had a lovely pool view. Staff were very accommodating when we asked for more towels/ directions / recommendations etc − We came slightly out of season so some parts were closed. Not a negative just an observation
