Ideal location to experience the African bush with topdraw hospitality + The rooms were exceptional and very private, every need is taken care of including being golf buggies to your rooms from the main building but the standout feature of Shepherds Tree was definitely the staff in every part of the reserve from reception to breakfast / dinner team to the exceptional game drive team! − Nothing, we loved every part of our stay

Excelente + Excelente acomodação, camas confortáveis e quarto silencioso. Equipe sempre muito solícita, todas as refeições foram muito completas. Nosso ranger foi muito bom e se esforçou para que tivéssemos boas experiências nos game drives. − Para períodos frios, o banho pode ser um problema. A ducha do quarto ficava na parte de fora - inviável de usar quando está fazendo perto de 0ºC. A única opção é tomar banho de banheira - na primeira noite, a água não esquentava. Realmente recomendamos fechar o ambiente das duchas.

Toller Aufenthalt mit kleiner Einschränkung + Erlebnisreiche Gamedrives Tolles Zimmer Sehr schöne Anlage Leckeres Essen − Sicherheitsstandard beim Gamedrive. Nach dem unerwarteten Abbrechen des Autoschlüssels fiel auf, dass es im Nationalpark kein mobiles Telefonnetz gibt und dass im Wagen das Funkgerät nicht senden kann. Nur durch Eigeninitiative konnten wir uns aus der unglücklichen Lage befreien.

E uma estadia 5 estrelas com um glamour legal. Eu me hospedaria novamente. + A cafe da manha foi exclente! OS funcionarios sempre muito cortes e atenciosos. A acomodação era muito bom e atendeu nossas expectativas. Chuveiro bom, camas boas, os drives eram bons. − Gostei de tudo. Acredito que os almoços poderiam ser mais fartos. Mas, atendeu a expectativa.

Still amazing, but keep an eye on service levels! + We stayed in an Executive Suite at Shepherd’s Tree Game Lodge and loved it. The location is beautiful, with wonderful views over the reserve from the suite. The décor is elegant and the food was delicious. Staff were super friendly throughout. The stocked minibar option was fine, though the drinks weren’t quite our usual choice. Romantic turndown was lovely — rose petals, candles, chocolates and sparkling wine. The couples massage was fantastic. A memorable, well-run stay. Highly recommended. − Food quality was somewhat inconsistent — ranging from good to great rather than consistently excellent. Our game-drive guide was not very enthusiastic. Service at some meals was very slow and below the standard we experienced on previous visits. Still a lovely stay overall, but the inconsistency in food and service was noticeable.
