Good value for a good sleep. + Convenient location on Higway 3 on entrance to Cranbrook. Very quiet despite its location between highway and low traffic train tracks. − A bit tired facilities

Very nice hotel overall but restaurant let us down. + Clean and lots of amenities. − The restaurant was not up to par. 5 star pricing for slow service and overcooked food.

Cool spot 0/10 in their highest priced room. More warnings needed + Good restaurants good location − The room I had in the train locomotive would physically shake and wake you up as trains went by beside every hour all night. I requested another room (this was the highest price room) I asked for even their cheapest room to be able to sleep the next night and ended up when two sleepless nights nothing to compensate at all for my itinerary. I have never complained about a hotel in my life before for context and I’m a genius 3

We shortened our stay and switched to a different hotel. + Nothing. − Everything. During check in, front desk said they will charge $50 to card for preauthorisation. That charge became $250 sans acknowledgment on my end. Then a 2nd $50 charge came in thereafter. Verified with front desk and they said it’s supposed to be $50 per night. We had an original planned stay for 4 nights which equates to $200. But $300 was kept on hold by them. Room was dingy, extremely dark and had an air of an abandoned space. Bathtub was clogged and when we showered, we were half swimming naked in turbid water. We checked out after the 2nd night to move to a different hotel. During check out, staff on front desk was unable to find the $250 pre authorisation that her colleague did and had to do a 3rd charge and then refund the charge. She had no issues reversing the $50 charge though. The staff then said I had to call my card provider to sort out the pre authorisation they did. It resulted in time wasted and…

Too expensive for a night’s stay. + Convenient , by the main road − Thin walls, woke up sooo early due to next room’s occupants. There were so many rooms available but they booked us next to each other.

+ The location was good, breakfast was good, except we waited a long time for the waitress and the food. A nice facility but the cost of the room is high. The staff was friendly and helpful. A clean space. − The cost per night we felt was a little high. The restaurant food was great but poorly staffed...service was slow, it took awhile to get our menus and our food.
