Disconnect yourself from the stress of life and experience the nature and beauty of Hakone. + Amazing property, fantastic views, the private onsen was great to plunge and relax at random times of the day. The staff were all exceptional they all made us feel so welcome and relaxed. − We didn’t like leaving the property we were all so sad!!!

Desconectarse y perderse en las montañas con onsen + Hakone retreat villa 1/f lo que más me gustó es que tiene tu propia tina de agua termales(onsen) y elegimos la Opción de cena y desayuno incluido, súper personalizado, te sientes como reyes 😄 También teníamos a acceso al onsen público, creo que es una experiencia única por la cual si vale la pena por su precio y calidad − Cómo está literalmente en la montaña, nos costó llegar hasta ese lugar, desde el terminal de odawara, está a casi 40 min si vas en taxi y creo que más de una hora en bus. Los cuartos como son de madera, y estar en la montaña, se siente la humedad fuerte, y en el onsen se ve que tiene moho las superficies de madera, por su naturaleza. Como fuimos en verano, no pudimos disfrutar mucho tiempo en el onsen😔 y me dio una como de calambre o hormigueo en los brazos y piernas (hay que tomar electrolitos para subir esa debilidad) también como estábamos en la naturaleza, hay bichos y mosquitos

Ne vaut pas la peine de séjourner. + L’endroit est paisible. − Nous avions réservé le dîner à l’avance lors de la réservation et le personnel voulait nous faire dîner à 17h00 ou 17h30 en nous disant qu’il n’y avait plus de place au restaurant plus tard. Ce n’est pas une heure pour dîner. Nous avons refusé et n’avons pas pu dîner sur les tables traditionnelles. Le dîner était bon mais sans plus. À peine finit de dîner, le personnel nous a dit de quitter la salle. Le petit déjeuner et toutes les prestations n’étaient pas à la hauteur du prix de la chambre. Très déçue, Hakone est un piège à touristes.

dissapointed + the location was nice and a cool room − the onsen in the room was cold when we arrived, we asked them to please heat it and they said they would but still cold. next morning we asked them again and they said okay, 30 min before check out time they said it was broken and we could use the one in another room. but the whole point of paying this much for a room is to have the onsen so you can enjoy it in the evening as you please. so huge dissatisfaction and ruined the trip unfortunately

Amazing spot to relax - do the villa with the private onsen! + Amazing property with private onsen and lovely little villa. Just what we were looking for to relax and unwind after a busy trip. Great dinners at the two restaurants on the property. Walking distance to a self-laundry for those who have been traveling a while. Got massages at the spa which were much needed but the best part was definitely our private onsen which we used multiple times a day! − Not really a lunch option on the property - had some relatively tasty frozen pizzas from the little cafe but would have been nice to have more options on the property even just a bowl of noodles.
