Always a pleasant stay at the Grand Hotel. + Convenience of the location to the city area. − Bed was a little soft for us. A shelf in the shower would have been useful for the soap, shampoo and conditioner.

Good value and nice staff + The size of the rooms and location. Also there was a lovely note and chocolates when we checked in which was a nice touch. − The kitchen was not clean. The toaster had remains of bread sticking out and some areas in the kitchen needed more attention and we didn't use the kitchen but if we wanted to we wouldn't have because it was off putting. The bathroom was clean and tidy but had some mould in a few places.

Staff were very friendly and enjoyed a chat . + We always love staying at the Grand. We took out friend they were impressed with the Beaty of the building too! − Prices we high due to NRL! Don’t know why they have to increase prices on school holidays and special events. But it was better value than some others we looked at.

Will definitely use again! + Liked that the bathroom was on the same level as the bedroom - thank you. Excellent soundproofing for the location! Given the age of the building, the facilities are sufficiently adequate. The staff were tremendous and parking was easy. Excellent value for money and we love the wide corridors!
