Comfy, clean place to stay in a friendly town, in reach of major tourist destinations. + Huge room with good facilities. I was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The family were very pleasant and encouraged me to join in the 4th July celebrations which were on in the town. A great choice of pubs and takeaways within a couple of minutes and a supermarket next door. This might be a good base for a more wide-ranging holiday because you can reach a lot of major tourist destinations as a day trip. On site parking. − There are lots of rules and I guess these have been the result of the poor behaviour of previous guests.

Luxurious homely clean and inspiring- and such delicious food! + I loved the home-made breakfast. Everything was delicious. My bedroom was very comfortable. Everything was our class. The fan came on as soon as I put the key in and there was a fresh bottle of water waiting for me. The window was open and curtains drawn to keep the heat out − Nothing

Warm, charming, and delightful property with a wonderful breakfast and a host to match. + Miriam is so warm and welcoming! The place itself is extremely charming as well as comfortable and Bruff is tiny but cute. The breakfast though--the breakfast was glorious! Lots of choices, vegetarian s well as with meat, and you are greeted at your table with a plate of to-die-for pastry! Miriam didn't seem to approve of a breakfast without a starter so we got the fruit, ate every bite, and then couldn't finish our main courses. Also the bathroom had a DEEP JETTED tub (with a very modern shower. After hiking all day around Lough Gur, a long hot soak was very welcome indeed. − Nothing I *didn't* like. Maybe the room could have used a few more outlets, but we travel with a LOT of electronics.

+ Good B&B with nice rooms − Not what you'd called outstanding. Owner instantly took €100 deposit on my credit card in case a 62 an 74 year old wrecked the place. Hotels don't do that as far as I'm aware. Got the impression we were being tolerated rather than welcome.

Nice accommodation but the host needs an attitude adjustment. + Good location and well presented − The host/owner was the opposite of what you would expect from Irish hospitality. She was rude to the two tourists checking in ahead of me and quiet abrupt to me also. €100 deposit was also was also held for “possible damages” which would put me off staying again. 5pm check in is also ridiculous i asked to check in an hour early but was denied.
