I regret not staying somewhere else + The best thing about this hotel is the surrounding nature and its close proximity to the national park. The area itself is beautiful and a great place to explore. − When we arrived, we were amazed by how nice the property looked, and we were genuinely excited to spend the night there. Unfortunately, the moment we got to our room, we started realizing how bad the experience was going to be. 1. Don't expect any peace and quiet in your room. The soundproofing was terrible. I could hear the guests upstairs, not just their footsteps, but even their conversations. The bathroom was the worst; you could hear practically everything. Our room was also right behind the entrance, and the doors did almost nothing to block noise. If someone walked through the hallway at 1:00, we could hear them walking, talking, sneezing—everything. It made it very difficult to sleep. 2. Your back may not thank you in the morning. The bed was unbelievably soft. When I …

Prima + De kamer en het ontbijt. Leuke locatie met hotelkamers die in huisjes op het terrein liggen. − 6 km van het centrum van Hoenderloo en wij waren lopend... Het eten viel tegen (pasta en burger)

Alleen bij nood boeken + De kamer was schoon en goed gerenoveerd. Airco was erg prettig. Bedden zijn goed. − Mogelijkheid tot dineren was er niet (restaurant was al om half 2 volgeboekt voor de avond) en dat is erg onhandig als het dorp 5km verderop ligt en je als oververhitte wandelaar binnenkomt. Er werd aan de incheckbalie niet meegedacht om een oplossing te vinden. Servicebereidheid op het terras was ook niet erg groot, personeel had geen interesse. Het hotel is een verzameling barakken op een terrein met zes gehorige appartementen per gebouw en een wenteltrap waarop onmogelijke zachtjes valt te lopen.

Decent enough. + Was kinda nice and cosy, nicely located. Fresh smell of pine trees. − When you walk up the stairs into your room, the stairs are shaky.. which feels a bit odd. Also, no mini fridge inside the room, whilst that would have been much better.

prima verblijf voor 1 of 2 nachten + nette, ruime kamer, ruime badkamer en schoon.. Ontbijt uitgebreid en compleet, genoeg ruimte voor de bezoekers Locatie rustig en groot. Het concept huisjes was wel verrassend − De bediening bij diner was onprofessioneel door ons te melden dat we zonder reservering geen plaats konden krijgen. Omdat je midden in het bos zit, kon je niets anders vinden. Gelukkig konden we makkelijk terecht aan de bar met de snacks als Loaded Nachos en kipstukjes. Had de ober best aan kunnen geven.

Ruim en rustig appartement, ongastvrij wat betreft de opties qua eten. + Ruim en rustig appartement met een leuk zitje buiten. Goede bedden. Ruime opzet van alle appartementen, veel groen aanwezig. Wel waren de appartementen naast en boven ons onbezet, dat kan dus anders zijn. − Bij aankomst bleek dat er geen optie was om in het restaurant te eten, alles was volgeboekt. Daarover hadden we geen bericht gekregen. Daarbij werd aangegeven dat je geen gebruik mocht maken van Thuisbezorgd wat impliceerde dat je ergens buiten de deur zou moeten gaan eten. De communicatie hierover verliep onprettig, niet erg gastvrij.
