Good stay at Manyo + Friendly and helpful staff − Poor wifi connectivity which is likely a problem all over the town due to the infrastructure

+ Most hotels in Luang Prabang are in the old French Quarters. Manyo is a 10 minute til-tuk or shuttle ride away. A bit less convenient, but also much quieter. That is what we were looking for, and we were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and efficient. They arranged for private transportation to the waterfalls at a competitive price, and provided a free shuttle back to the airport when we left. If we ever returned to Luang Prabang, this is where we would stay.

Exceptional + Staff very friendly and helpful, always with a smile . Helped us sort out a problem with a bank. Very grateful for the help. Nothing was too much trouble. Shuttle into town makes a great difference. However it's a nice easy walk to the town centre

+ No internet whatsoever or resort Wi fi. And resort maintenance man could still not fix the issue. Actually left a day early. Staff 10/10 though.

Horrible experience + Nothing − Bugs, spiders, mosquitoes. Bed had blood stains and had to ask for a change of sheets, was told that housekeeping was already asleep. Food had fruit flies everywhere. My card was charged 3 times and have not been given a refund. Far away from the old town. Would not recommend.

Pleasant + In general, it is well organized and comfortable. Kitchen and restaurant is not so good. The food is overpriced and not that delicious. And the price is in USD and when you pay in KIP, their exchange rate is more than the bank’s rate. − The wall is so thin and you can hear the people talk next to your room and smell the cigarette smoke from downstairs.

+ Love the swimming pool (but it was little shallow and there’s only one deep area-1.6m). Still loved the view and i went there during unbusy season so it was quiet and relaxing. The staff was soo nice and kind. − The TV have Netflix and Youtube app and didn’t had any connection so couldn’t connect my account. literally TV was just an accessory of the room.

Look for something else, you can fondvetter places than this one. + Facilities are fine But NO 5 STAR. − Very noisy, no space around the pool, simple breakfast, expensive bar. First time in Asia that I had to take care of my luggage.

Calme, douceur et volupté. + Nous avons adoré l’emplacement de cet établissement non loin du centre de Luang Prabang. Le personnel est d’une délicatesse infinie et d’une amabilité hors pair. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et les mets rafinés. Quant à la piscine, au cœur de l’établissement, circulaire, elle est tout simplement divine.
