+ Some people may find it a bit dated but in our view it adds to the charm of the place. The staff were amazing especially the lady at the front desk also if you like a decent meal I can highly recommend the on-site restaurant. A added bonus is the fantastic views will definitely return.

Comfortable, cosy unit with pleasant outlook. + Very comfortable bed, pleasant outlook towards the hills. The room caught the afternoon sun which made it cosy until sunset. The heat pump, bathroom heat light and electric blanket all worked well to make the room comfortable even when the outside temperature was 0c. All the staff were friendly and having an on-site restaurant was a bonus during mid-winter. − All good.

Good for a short stay + The TUI suite was spacious and clean and well designed with everything needed for a nice day. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I loved the bathtub. Also the location can't be beat can walk everywhere very quickly. − Mostly the bed was extremely uncomfortable, very soft and can feel the springs. The room cleaning was disappointing, the first day they didn't even come and when I asked them to clean on the second day, it was very minimal - for example they didn't make the bed or sweeps the floors. Also I was disappointed that the spa pool is out of service and looks like it has been for some time but still advertised as an amenity.

Comfortable & Cosy + I really appreciated the rooms it was very accommodating for our short stay. Despite their being a little hiccup the staff were absolutely amazing and fantastic to deal with the issues. I appreciated the communication with the Manager as she was very helpful in every way. The bed was comfortable after a very big afternoon as we traveled from Taranaki for a funeral. The shower was warm and the room heaters kept us cosy and warm. I appreciated the stay and recommended it to anyone travelling. Remember, if you have a small issue or a major issue, to respect staff with these concerns and communication with them as they deserve the aroha. They mean so well and are lovely to deal with! I definitely would stay here again. Thank yous again kindly for your amazing hospitality xx

Feed back + Room was very clean and comfortable. Our welcome to the property was great, no rush, nice and relaxed check in. Lovely staff on arrival and exit. − Probably just the drive way coming in and by our room, needs some maintenance but otherwise everything else was great.
