+ Good location, bed was fine. − Very weak water pressure in shower, no shelving for stuff. Metal tacks exposed on floor, various wood components rotten or missing, no soap dish etc.

Affordable Stay. Helpful Staff + Enjoyed the property as it was very spacious (too many beds and wardrobes) and complete kitchen, enjoyed my birthday stay. We loved the trampoline outside! Great view, near the Farmer’s Market. − The pool and spa was dirty so we didn’t had the chance to use them.

Waiheke Motel for the Win + From the moment we arrived at the motel, we were welcomed with warm smiles and outstanding service from the professional and friendly staff. Their genuine hospitality immediately made us feel at home. Our room was spotless and exceptionally well-presented, with everything we needed for a comfortable and effortless stay. The attention to detail was evident throughout, and all facilities were maintained to a very high standard. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a warm and restful night's sleep. It was clear that guest comfort is a priority, and this contributed greatly to our overall experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this motel to others. We look forward to returning in the future.

Great value waiheke accom + Pleasantly surprised at how great this place was. After reading a few reviews I had low expectations but this motel was clean, spacious and handy - especially as we didn’t have a car. If you want a base to explore the island that doesn’t break the bank (like the rest of waiheke!) I highly recommend.

Million dollar 'experience' on a budget! + This little secret hidden among the multi-million dollar mansions on Waiheke Island and a hop-skip and a jump from the beach is sublime. Kitsch and Kwerky in all respects these motel units pay homage to mid-century Palm Springs feels, Kiwi styles. The wife and I wanting to sneak a weekend away from the hustle n bustle of Auckland (and the teen sons) we secured a last minute cancellation. I dont think the owner Kelly does this as a service but realising from our phone call what ferry we were arriving on organised a trip to the shops for himself to also pick us up. Happy to stop enroute to the motels to grab ourselves some wine, beers from the Bott'lo and snacks from the 4Square this guy said 'yes, sure' to every request and we hadnt even arrived at our digs. We got a run down on all the best restaurants enroute and after checking us in and meeting other weekend escapees from the big smoke we discovered they too got the 5 star welcome (Kelly) …

Excellent location, close to shops and buses + Kelly is a fantastic host and made the stay very welcoming. The location is excellent, with a bus stop and supermarket just a 3-minute walk away. It’s a lovely, quiet, and clean setting—perfect for relaxing. A great place to chill, and an ideal base for travelling around the island

Great location and vibe + Lovely place! Stayed here with the fam whilst visiting for a wedding and was exactly what we needed. Super convenient location in the middle of island and reasonably priced. Right across the road from the famous waiheke Saturday market too!

Excellent for the money + Stayed at the Waiheke Motel for a few nights and was really impressed for the price. It’s one of the more affordable options on the island, but you don’t feel like you’re missing out. The location is excellent — super easy access to the beaches and a short drive to everything else.The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely quiet, which made it perfect for a proper rest. Everything felt well looked after and no fuss.Would definitely recommend it for anyone on a budget who still wants to enjoy Waiheke’s vibe, or if you’re coming over for work and just need a clean, comfortable place to crash. Great value!

Best sleep ever + Loved the bed we had the best sleep, nice linen. Washing machine and dryer onsite free of charge.The owners were super friendly and allowed us to check in a hour earlier. Walking distance to the supermarket and other shops in the area.

Need upgrading. + Pebble stones paths to cabins are a nightmare especially at night. Rooms are alright except have to contend with faulty door although a better room was offered.
