+ Comfortable, Central, Clean, single floor. − A lot of rules, that I feel should rightfully apply to dorm rooms but shouldn't apply to private single rooms.

Better than we expected. + Awesome friendly staff. Only reason wouldnt recommend as romantic place to stay is because of shared kitchen etc. I would never recommend any backpacker for that reason. However I would recommend the Attic for any other purpose. We will definitely stay at the Attic again without hesitation. Looking forward to staying in December while we in town for concerts. Really appreciated all info about Auckland around the building. As someone from out of town we found it really helpful and great clear signage around building. − Nothing to complain about it was brilliant accomadation.

Friendly staff and guests + Friendly staff and clean facilities − Bed a bit uncomfortable. The room might need a new bed and also a lamp to have some dim light instead of being too bright or just dark.

+ 大樓設備有點舊，入口電梯是別家餐廳的後場空間，氣味不佳。 − 門禁管制，曾經有個看起來像遊民的在公共區域幫忙收垃圾，雖然沒有做什麼怪事，可是讓人覺得不安全。

價格不貴，住起來也舒服。有問題問櫃枱人員也能得到幫助。入口對我來說不明顯，研究很久才找到。 + 空間不錯，價格相對便宜。地點到哪都很方便，適合搭大眾交通公具的人。廁所浴室很不錯，使用起來算舒服。 − 傍晚時有很重的油煙味，不能開窗戶。廚房沒有馬克杯，住宿期間的人有些不守規矩，所以碗槽的髒碗很多，就算是乾淨的杯碗要使用前也建議再洗一次，我有一天拿到一個洗過的杯子，結果一沖水都是泡泡。

I have no idea why this hostel is so popular. + Staff were great, luggage room is a nice touch. Bathroom was pretty large, clean and comfortable. Kitchen was also roomy and there is space out there on the terrace. − The white noise (A/C outdoor units) was not just super annoying, but unhealthy too. Constant background noise triggers low-grade chronic stress, fatigue, and irritability. This sound level was above the normal threshold. One of the guys in the morning went around (I guess cleaning) and sprayed air freshener around without asking anyone if that’s okay. It is not okay, especially for people with asthma! Sprays release VOCs that can irritate the eyes, nose, and throat, and can trigger headaches or cause nausea, worsen asthma symptoms etc.
