+ Beautiful secluded location − Far from any amenities. Shower had hair in it. Staff that checked us in were not very friendly but they handled the mix up with my name being entered backwards.

A mixed bag + The property is beautiful and clean, in a gorgeous outdoor setting. The decor was very elegant. I enjoyed having a restaurant on-site for dinner and an included breakfast as part of the nightly rate. The bathroom was large and gorgeous with lots of counter space. I loved the outlets and USB on the nightstand. I appreciated that the air conditioning came back on automatically when we re entered the room. The staff was very nice and friendly. PLENTY of nice, thick towels. − My bed made a loud noise every time I turned over (boinggggg) and was not comfortable. That was the main reason the property didn't meet my expectations. Everything else was small. The breakfast ran out of pancake mix 30 minutes before it closed. The carpet area where we ate smelled very damp and musty. The shower pressure was weak and the shower door only covered half of the shower, allowing water into the rest of the bathroom and cold water into the shower. Great hidden Gem! + Staff and physical plant of the hotel are incredible! The breakfast buffet was good food and lovely staff. − The difference of cost for Penn State events compared to other days.

It was a decent stay. + Overall, the room was ok except for the sheets on the one bed. Staff listened and was very accomodating and kind to our complaints and issues. View from the hotel was outstanding and it was very quiet. − We stayed here last year at the same time. The bedsheets had a stain on them. They were laundered but the stain still existed so housekeeping had to change all the bedding but not until the next morning. Did not see it until I pulled down the sheets for bedtime and they were gone. There was an unpleasant smell when we first walked into the room which I also discussed with the front desk. She thought it was coming from the ventilation but I am not sure about that. It needed to be Lysol or disinfected better. The breakfast was not as good as it was in the past. Before they had a bowl of fresh fruit, chocolate muffins etc... More variety and items. The diced pototoes were way too salty. We hope these issue will be improved upon in the future.

Great location. Would stay again + Location cleanliness nice breakfast bar − Though I do not blame the property there was one night during my stay that it was very noisy. New guests had arrived and their children were running in the halls and making noise the time was late (after 11pm) thankfully they only stayed one night so I did not have to complain to the manager
