Baris Guesthouse is in a league of its own! + Minda is an exceptional host, she takes pride in her beautiful farm, and goes the extra mile to ensure that her guests are comfortable. The cottage is pristine, and includes everything you need for your stay. The tastefully styled farmhouse unit is charming, and seamlessly integrates with all of its modern necessities. The farm is immaculate and the manicured rolling lawns and exquisite gardens are very well kept. The bed is really comfortable and there is a fan for hotter nights, and a wood stove fireplace for those cosy cooler evenings. There is a braai facility and a private garden for each unit, which is such a nice touch, and the cottages are cleaned daily. + Spotlessly clean, wonderfully quiet, and hosted with genuine care. The facilities were excellent — they even provided charcoal for the outdoor braai and firewood for the indoor fireplace. Visiting in May when the temperatures start to drop, this thoughtful touch made the stay absolutely perfect. − It's really hard to find something to critique.

+ Perfectly located close to Clarens and Bethlehem. Facilities are exceptional, and the hosts were wonderful. Re-stocking of fire wood and milk daily, and even a few home-baked sweet treats. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable.

+ Beautiful guesthouse situated a short drive outside Clarens on a stunning farm. Baris Monger (the restaurant on site) is lovely- we had a cheese platter with cheese made on the farm- that was a great experience. Attention to detail is superb. The hosts go above and beyond and are such lovely people. We felt very safe and spoilt. The fire place is an added extra bonus. Was a blissful stay!
