I would recommend it to everyone and will return when the need arises. + The house is beautiful and landscaping is breathtaking, comforting, and relaxing. Breakfast is served on back patio where you can take in the beautiful setting and provides a relaxing setting for a great breakfast made to order. We couldn't ask for more. The property is also well secured with double drive through gates and security cameras which made us feel completely safe. The location is comfortably situated between Johannesburg and Pretoria providing easy access to both. − There's nothing we can think of that we didn't like. It was a lovely stay and the owners were a pleasure to talk with.

It felt like home from home in Bryanston. + It was great having delicious breakfast and looking out to the pool. We loved the hospitality, the hosts couldn't have been more welcoming. Our room had a little private veranda and we sat by the pool. It was lovely. − We liked everything.

+ Everyone working there was amazing and so welcoming it felt like home. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained which makes for an amazing view when eating your breakfast. The double gates and secluded location makes you feel very safe

very dissatisfied with owenrs attitude + na − the host was abrupt and rude, she wasn't aware that booking.com took in a booking after 5 pm. i arrived at 1030 on sunday evening due to a delayed fight she wasnt impressed and had no clue that you had confired my booking.

Noch besser als erwartet :-) Danke + Sheperd Lodge hat uns rundum gefallen. Das Frühstück war super, alles wurde speziell sogar nach Wunsch eingekauft und frisch zubereitet. Die Lage war für uns perfekt (ganz nah an Pretoria, Johannesburg und Hartebeespoortdam), es war ruhig, der Garten wunderschön, wir konnten sehr bequem und sicher mit Uber überall hin, wo wir wollten. Unsere Gastgeberin Penny war herzlich und sehr hilfsbereit, das Personal ebenso.

+ What a gem of a place! My husband and I worked remotely whilst staying here and it was a pleasure. The weather was a little cold but with the fire in the lounge it was cozy. Penny and her team were super hospitable and always trying to make our great stay even better!

Lovely quiet stay in beautiful gardens. Felt safe and well taken care of. Host and staff were great + Great location and very helpful responsive host. Staff were all great. Host was very nice to accommodate my request for a quiet room, by upgrading my room. Overall a very easy and comfortable stay − I thought some of the furniture needed a re-fresh or steam clean - perhaps even switch around the 2 light colored sofa's so that the cleaner sofa is evident on first impression.
