Perfect for a short stay. + First and foremost, Desie - she went out of her way for us. I had an early appointment on Friday morning, so she organized breakfast earlier for me. My elderly mom stayed at Burrough Place and Desie served breakfast to her in our room while I was out. The location is good - between the hospital, with a lovely shopping centre close by (within walking distance). The breakfast (also prepared and served by Desie), was certainly great value for money - and enough food to tide us over until dinner (which we purchased from the shopping centre) and heated in the microwave in the main dining room. The rooms are stylishly furnished and the beds are comfortable. Coffee in the garden with peacocks for company was a highlight! − The booking indicated airconditioning and while there is a dual-direction fan, that heats & cools, it is not the same thing as advertised. Also for a 4-star rated establishment, I feel that the TV offering could have been more than a limited DST…

+ Just wow I had requests and I was assisted immediately by the host. Even when I checked in she came to make to check if I needed anything (because I was on my way to a wedding) and even offered something to eat... Thank you so much... was a short stay but would have loved to stay longer to indulge in the garden area but will be back.

Exceptional hospitality + Desie was exceptionally helpful for our late check-in. She even left the football channel on for us when we arrived so that we could watch the World Cup final !
