We loved the house, really beautiful. Could have used a few more comforts like games or cards since + No breakfast. The house and area were very very beautiful. Great bathrooms. The house was spacious and comfortable. A magnificent place to experience a spectacular thunder and lightning storm − I knew we needed to bring our own food but there was no salt and no spare toilet paper! We were aware there was not going to be good wifi. It was pretty non existent. Nothing the owners could do, but there were leeches.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back + Loved the isolation , can completely relax and forget about the hustle and bustle of the outside world , the running water in the creek was heavenly and spent quiet a few hours by the creek picnicking fishing and relaxing , pool area looked great with a stunning view sadly didn’t get a chance to try pool this time , room was great , loved the country theme , bed comfortable , would stay again but try a different themed room next time to change it up − Sadly the lake/ dam looked run down , the middle island was so overgrown it was unsafe to go to it due to possibility of snakes , looked so beautiful in pictures but didn’t live up to the pictures I had seen , tried fishing in the lake but only caught reeds and weed

+ The cabin was comfortable and homey. It was a lovely place to escape and rest as a group. The pool space was lovely, even on a cool day to enjoy the sun. Great out of town escape.

Loved our stay + Really enjoyed our stay , it was lovely and very relaxing , the room was great , bed comfortable and room clean and tidy , few minor maintenance issues that I did send text to owner about them , creek was heavenly and spent quiet a bit of time at the creek Only disappointment we had was the WIFi Was terrible we couldn’t connect to it the whole stay and the lake/ dam was very overgrown with long grass , we tried fishing and wanted to go to the middle to fish and but it was ingrown with long grass so couldn’t go there , rest of grounds were immaculate , we would live to come back again and stay at a different themed cabin to change it up

+ Great location − Owners dog followed us around and broke thru the tennis court fencing to get to our dog. It then followed us to the pool and was drinking from the pool water whilst we were trying to swim

+ Cottage and location − Pool was lovely to look at but was not heated and the area around was not well maintained. The cottage also had candles and a fire place but did not provide a lighter to use them.

Perfect for a short stay. Will definitely be bck. + Hosts were extremely accommodating. The valley is beautiful. Cottages are gorgeous. Stunning location. − Nothing really - just a suggestion a couple more cooking pots and utensils would be great - saucepans a larger frying pan - baking dish etc tongs as you tend to cook as restaurants/pub are some distance away.

A picture-perfect pastoral landscape. + The cabin is warm and inviting, with a sky full of brilliant stars at night. Everywhere you look, you’ll see cows peacefully grazing in the surrounding fields. It’s the kind of place that gently softens your heart and reminds you of life’s simple beauty. − Just one small suggestion: offering complimentary firewood for the fireplace would make the stay even more enjoyable.

+ The cottage was quiet and private with a beautiful fireplace that was perfect for our little romantic getaway in winter. You do need to take your own supplies but having all your comfort foods made it a home away from home. Having our fur babies with us made it extra special. Will definitely come back.
