Photos are misleading + Location − The rooms weren’t clean, thick layer of dust around the room, rubbish under beds from previous guest, one rooms back door was broken and unsecured. And the rooms were full of mosquitoes.

Convenient, great location, parking outside each villa, and good amenities… just a bit dated. + Great location, nice and quiet area but across the road from the 4 Pines to grab an evening drink. Room is convenient and has good amenities. Convenient for a 1 night stay, very spacious room. Parking is good. − Bed wasn’t super comfy and room could’ve been cleaner. Very dated.

It's a terrific place and would recommend it to others to stay here. + Loved the restaurant. Had a terrific meal on the Friday night. − Having to check out on Saturday morning.

+ Not a lot. − Room walls were all cracked, back door had big gaps letting in mozzie.paid $185 for 1 night for three per.then was told it was extra $15 for bedding for the sofa bed. Then another $50 for a small dog?

Would not return in a hurry. Not value for money. + Great location. Beautiful scenery − The room was “tired”. No luxury touches. The room was a good size but looked bare and not inviting. Old bathroom. Old fridge with some small milks just thrown in. Not even put in nicely. We ate dinner and breakfast at the property. The food was overpriced. The service was poor. Very slow service and wait staff who were unfamiliar with the menu. They were polite but the service was not there.

the advertising was deceptive. the facilities did not match the pricepoint - over $500 staff tried + staff were friendly and responsive to complaints but had bad things to work with the chef was good and cooked nice breakfast. his pizzas were good even if unexpected. wait staff were friendly − the restaurant was closed even though the web information suggested it was open. we were not informed of this until arrival. as it was a planned closure to promote their bar area. we should have been informed. instead of a gourmet restaurant we were offered pizzas and snacks the rooms are tired. the recreational facilities were limited the quilt in our room was covered in old food stains and turned over to hide it the price was way to high for the amenity that was offered but by the time we arrived it was too late to go elswhere

Really disappointing. + Quiet − On entry the room smelled of bleach so strong we had to air the room out, only to have the bleach smell replaced by a septic smell from the drains for the rest of the stay. Advertising of available food and drink was really confusing. Expected The Mill to be open. Went to the Brokenback Bar when it wasn’t. Staff are really friendly but seem unsure of themselves and aren’t very good at food and drink prep. We ordered 2 cocktails, sat at a table with a busted leg, switched seats, went back to the bar to collect our drinks. The bartender had made the entirely wrong drink for my partner and mine had been shaken to death with watery ice. Got my partner’s drink remade and it was still badly done but the bartender stood beside us to watch her try it which was a bit weird and uncomfortable. Breakfast the next day was really weird. Now it’s in The Mill, the same bartender is hosting and he’s uncomfortable and awkward again. He explains we get the English break…

Lovely, modest, peaceful. + Gorgeous surroundings. We stayed for two nights in the Olive Grove rooms. Had a peaceful countryside view, out the back. Large room, with a comfortable bed and a large sofa to sit and watch TV, if that's your thing. Clean, quiet and spacious. Dinner, breakfast, bars and coffee venues within a two minute walk. − It offers the usual tea/coffee stuff. However, there's no powerpoint in the tea making area. We had to use the bathroom to boil the kettle. Felt a bit odd. The whole tea making area was really pokey and rather 'tired'. There is plenty of space in the room to offer something better. Nevertheless, it was not a big issue for us. We didn't go to the Hunter Valley to have tea and coffee in our room!
