Not going again too pricy for such bad service + The room is clean and bed is comfortable − The staff was not cooperative .. one staff even opened the door in my room without knocking while I was changing ! Honestly the staff ate the worst . I only stayed one night as I have booked my holiday in the stunning Santani resort however all flights with 4 hrs road trip to kandy let me to arrive at 8pm so wanted to go a day earlier so I don’t lose a day in Santani.

Parel + Wat een parel. 20 min van het centrum van Kandy maar de rit meer dan waard. Het uitzicht, zeer vriendelijk personeel en de heerlijke keuken. Je wordt er letterlijk in de watten gelegd. − Eigenlijk niks. Misschien dat de accomodatie wat ver van de stad ligt (smalle kronkel bergweg) maar als je eenmaal bent, wil je gewoon niet meer weg.

Terrible Experience – No Support During Floods & Unauthorised Charges - No Invoices Ever Shared − During severe flooding near Kandy in Nov, the hotel provided no safety advice, no assistance, and no alternative accommodation, even after informing me that I could not return to the property. The general manager ignored all my messages during this time. Afterward, the hotel charged my credit card without authorization, billed me for the full stay - factually I only stayed 2 out of 4 booked nights and extras, and has ignored all (5!) my requests for invoices despite multiple emails and messages directly with General Manager and common email. I filed a formal complaint with the hotel, but the so-called “investigation” was one-sided, without considering any of the information I provided. + W15 Hanthana Estate A Very Special Place Our stay has been truly exceptional in every way since arriving three days ago. We have stayed in many lovely hotels across the world and never experienced such attention to detail and personal service. Nothing was too much trouble for Sidath and his team (including a very competent chef) reflecting true professionalism. The smiles of kindness from Navod, Manila and Keerthi will have a special place for us on this month tour of Sri Lanka on our motorbikes. We even left with beautifully cleaned motorbikes having arrived with the dirtiest! The location is fabulous with a feeling that you’re on top of the world. Sadly, the weather was a little cool for our time at the estate so we didn’t use the lovely pool. We were however, very happy to sit on the veranda with a book and the view. Our room was delightful, with lovely bathroom touches, delicious chocolates on arrival and the turndown service something to look forward to with a hot water bott…

Beautiful setting but overrated and overpriced in our view + Beautiful, peaceful setting. Enjoyed walking the paths from the property. Spa treatments we had were very good, but in a guest room not in a spa. − The Road to get to the property was awful. The food was mixed - but in our view not Michelin food. Soups and tartare delicious, but fish and veg overcooked and not tasty. Our room was very dimly lit - bathroom lighting very poor.

Good stay ruined by being double charged and still waiting for the refund after almost a month. + Good food. Nice location and view. Good service − I have been double charged for the room all inclusive by their mistake I'm still waiting for the refund after almost a month and multiple requests , which always recieve a polite answer but no action from their side.

A special thank you to the manager Mafas, our butler Nivod, Manjula, and our tour guide for taking such great care of us. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming.
