Beautiful place, but difficult to get to at the moment. Make sure they use the 4x4 to pick you up! + Beautiful place, lovely staff. The morning view is just beautiful to have breakfast. Manager very understanding when we reduced our stay. − With the current roadworks it is just too difficult to get to. We’d planned for 3 nights, but after they picked us up from the road in a little van and drove down a borderline dangerous ‘alternate route’ for 30 minutes (due roadworks closing the main route) I decided it just wasn’t safe, and because we would have to do that every time we wanted to go anywhere it would be terrible. Turns out they did have a 4x4 but it was being used. The road is NOT safe for a normal 2WD minibus! If you’re staying there for a few days then fine (although there’s not much to do and your so close to Ella (physically) I don’t know why you would - although it is remote and peaceful. We cancelled 2 nights and only stayed one (after I spoke with the Manager on the…

The most peaceful place in Ella with outstanding views. + The food and staff were outstanding. We had the food included option for dinner and breakfast and there was a lot. − Could have had more pillow selection and pool solar heated. Road was being repaired so there are delays.

A beautiful stay with stunning views over Ella + The treehouse style accommodations were absolutely beautiful, with gorgeous views over the hills in Ella. The staff were superb, with a special shoutout to Kavindu and team who couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you for giving us such a memorable stay − The property is beautiful, with a lovely restaurant, pool and rooms. The only thing to note is that the location is up in the hills in Ella, and requires a shuttle to meet your driver at the end of the road. Saying this, they were always on hand to meet us at any time, so this did not cause any problems at all!

Fantastic - highly recommend. beautiful villa, scenery staff and food. Super impressed. + It is such a beautiful setting and the view is amazing. It exceeded our expectations. Food was delicious and the staff very helpful and attentive. We especially appreciated the help from Maduranga. We loved the cinnamon making experience and all the helpful information the staff gave us. 10/10 stay! Isiru was a very helpful staff member also - drove us around and very informative. − Beds upstairs with steep stairs for kids would benefit from a safety gate and a fan or additional air con unit.

If you’re looking for a spectacular hotel with amazing views, this is the place for you. Amazing staff were the cherry o + The staff were phenomenal - Isuru and Kabindu were so lovely. The view was amazing. Great pool facilities. Food at restaurant was wonderful. − There is a windy road into the accommodation that is under construction, therefore causing major delays (20 mins). The hotel was very accomodating when needing to drive us to and from the main road, however it definitely is something to consider if you are wanting to travel into the Ella main town each day (50 min journey).

Traumhafte Aussicht, herzliche Gastgeber, leckeres Essen und ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Wir würden jederzeit wied + Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Majentra Ella. Die Unterkunft bietet eine atemberaubende Aussicht, die jede Anfahrt mehr als wettmacht. Auch wenn man ein paar Minuten Fahrt in Kauf nehmen muss, lohnt es sich auf jeden Fall. Die Ruhe und der Ausblick sind einfach einmalig. Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns bei Kavindu, der genau wie alle anderen Teammitglieder unglaublich herzlich, freundlich und hilfsbereit war. Der Shuttle Service zur Hauptstraße war ein toller Service und hat den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Das Essen war lecker und frisch zubereitet und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Auch die Lage ist ideal, um die wunderschöne Gegend rund um Ella zu erkunden. Ella selbst ist eine charmante Stadt mit vielen gemütlichen Restaurants und einer schönen abendlichen Atmosphäre. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Phänomenal + • atemberaubender Ausblick, komplette Ruhe und Erholung • sehe freundliche und bemühte Mitarbeiter, insbesondere Isuru und Kavindu • Personal bietet Shuttle-Service, da die Straße aufgrund einer Baustelle sehr holprig ist • große Essensauswahl (auch kontinentale Speisen) • großer Balkon • Whirlpool-Badewanne mit Ausblick!!! • sehr sauber, man hat sich durch und durch wohlgefühlt − • da die Unterkunft mitten in den Bergen liegt, gab es viele Bienen, die auch mal in unser Zimmer geflogen sind > Balkontüre immer schließen ;)

+ The accommodation was very nice with a great view. The service was really good. Everybody was very friendly and always helpful. Kabindu helped us organize our day trips. He was always there for us with any requests. The breakfast was really delicious with a lot of choices and options. − The accommodation was not well maintained. One of the balcony doors wasn't working. Not all lights were working. The vanity mirror and bathroom fixtures were not fixed properly.

Prachtig hotel met spectaculair uitzicht! + Zeer mooie lokatie, prachtig uitzicht waar je niet op uitgekeken raakt! Comfortabel, mooi huisje! We hebben er ook heerlijk gegeten! Speciale dank aan de hulp en gastvrijheid van Maduranga! − Het enige minpunt is dat het wat ver van Ella ligt. De weg is onder constructie en wordt breder gemaakt. Uiteindelijk zal dit een verbetering zijn.

+ The hotel is situated on the side of a mountain, secluded from anywhere else and felt like it was very luxurious and deep in the jungle. The service was excellent. There are very few cabanas, so our dining experience felt very personal and of a exceptional high standard. − The stay was perfect.

Schitterende ligging! + De locatie is ronduit schitterend: het uitzicht vanuit het huisje, vanaf het zwembad of vanop het terras van het restaurant is de grote troef van dit hotel. Onthaal is zeer hartelijk, het personeel doet alles om je een fantastische ervaring te bezorgen. Het huisje is ruim en heel gezellig en comfortabel ingericht. Uitstekend bed. Ontbijt en avondmaal is eveneens lekker en verzorgd. Majentra ligt op 30 min rijden van het levendige centrum van Ella. Hier hou je best rekening mee, zeker omdat het laatste stuk weg erg 'bumpy' is. De weg wordt wel heraangelegd, dus binnen enkele maanden is dit euvel voorbij.

Had to leave a day early due to a personal emergency and the staff was kind enough to refund 50% of my second night cost + It is a well designed room with lovely view of the hills around it . − If you are someone who just like schilling indoors and staying in the room it’s ok but it severely restricts you. It’s 20/30 min away from town . Your Ar doesn’t fully go to the property and though the property has a pick up and drop facility from the main road the 10 min ride with their pick up is not on very good roads .
