    Had a good stay but could have been a bit more comfortable. + The location & the well manicured garden which was blooming with exotic flowers. − There was no lift & we had to climb 2 floors to go to our room- there was no fan nor AC- first night we cld not sleep because it was hot & stuffy. I was lucky to get a standing fan for nxt day. There was no view from our room.

    + A quirky, relaxing hotel with a lovely colonial feel. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Nuwara Eliya is very spread out compared to other towns in Sri Lanka. It’s not close to the centre of town, but worth staying here - especially if you have a driver. (The hotel has accommodation for drivers). We loved the little bar and the attentive staff.
