Incroyable ! + Accueil très chaleureux et chambre impeccable ! Le lit était hyper confortable, les draps super doux, on a trop bien dormi ! La douche était bien chaude et la salle de bain d'une propreté nickel. Le petit déjeuner Sri Lankais était super bon, et être accueilli par un thé à notre arrivée était très appréciable 😍 Les plantations de thé dans lesquelles on peu se balader sont littéralement derrière la maison, on voit le pont du train depuis la terrasse et on peut se balader proche de la rivière. On venait surtout pour visiter Nuwara Elyia, et bien qu'à quelques kilomètres, la localisation était parfaite, au calme dans un petit village authentique, à deux pas de la gare, et si on est pas vehiculé, il y a des bus directs pour aller à Nuwara Elyia donc top. On serait bien resté plus longtemps pour se reposer ! Merci pour tout !

Authentic home stay in village environment + We appreciated the authenticity of the home stay, village nearby and family. We felt and as if we were staying in their home. Nearby are the village and town. It is suited to those who are not looking for a western tourist experience but to spend time in a local area. There are lovely walks to do in the area and it is 15mins on a bus or tuk tuk to Nuwara Elia. Also not far to worlds end. We had a beautiful day with a local tuk tuk driver who took us to local temples and sites. It’s possible to have dinner at the villa - just be aware that it is traditional to eat after 8 pm so plan for this. − Our bed was quite noisy and a bit uncomfortable

+ ✅ Les avantages * bel emplacement, avec une belle cascade devant la chambre et les plantations de thé. * La fraîcheur est appréciable, avec environ 15 °C la nuit. * Le propriétaire est discret et timide . * Accueil agréable avec un the et un morceau de gâteau. − ❌ Les inconvénients * Chambre assez simple. Il n’y avait pas de draps, ce qui est dommage. Nous avons préféré ne pas dormir directement sous la couverture, qui ne semble pas être lavée entre chaque séjour. * Une bouilloire est bien présente dans la chambre, mais sans thé, café ni sachets de sucre. * Le repas du soir (1 600 roupies) nous a semblé un peu sec à notre goût par le prix . * Le petit-déjeuner a été servi environ 45 minutes après l’heure demandée. Ce n’est pas rédhibitoire, mais il vaut mieux le savoir si vous avez un taxi. * Le patio est partagé avec les autres voyageurs. * La maison en travaux qui correspond pas aux photos du site .

Feels like a home away from home! Incredible food and lovely hosts. + We had a fantastic stay at Ansi Villa! The hosts are such genuinely wonderful people who made sure we were comfortable from the moment we arrived. They really go out of their way to create a warm, welcoming, homey atmosphere. The lady of the house cooks dinner right on site for her guests, and it was absolutely delicious, authentic, homemade, and full of flavor. The breakfast was fresh, and super nourishing to start the day. If you appreciate true Sri Lankan hospitality and delicious home cooked meals, this is the place to be. We couldn't have asked for a better stay! 🌿✨

+ Nous avons été très touchés de l’accueil chaleureux de notre hôte qui nous a offert un the et un morceau de gâteau à notre arrivée. Le logement est agréablement situé à proximité d’une cascade, de la gare et du centre-ville. Les lits sont confortables et pourvus de draps et couverture. Bien que nous n’en n’ayons pas eu l’utilité, des appareils anti-moustiques nous ont été proposés. Le repas du soir était bon et copieux. Nos hôtes ont également eu la gentillesse de nous déposer a la gare. − Les douches sont sûrement un point sur lequel des améliorations pourraient être apportées, notamment au niveau du réglage de la température. Nous avons eu à déplorer un peu de retard sur le repas du soir, ce qui dans notre situation, n’a cependant pas été gênant, pas plus que les travaux en cours qui promettent d’apporter a cet établissement un confort supplémentaire à l’avenir

Heel fijn verblijf op loopafstand van station bij hele vriendelijke familie + Wij zijn hier voor het tweede jaar. De eigenaren zijn warm en vriendelijk en heel dankbaar. De kamers zijn heel fris en schoon. Bij aankomst werden we verwelkomd met thee en cake. Ze hebben voor ons heerlijk gekookt. Dit scheelde ons zoeken naar een restaurant. Ze zijn aan het verbouwen. Wij hadden daar niets van gemerkt. Er komen grote familie kamers bij.

Une nuit en transit, c est ok… + Accueil chaleureux avec du thé et des petits gâteaux.Bon petit déjeuner avec possibilité de dîner sur place. Famille très gentille. − Une des chambres donnait sur la salle à manger en construction protégée par des bâches :il faisait très froid pour dîner et dans la chambre.Autorisation pour 15 min de chauffage malgré le froid,le vent et la pluie Aucune indication de l’endroit Chambre non prête à l’ arrivée ( plus de 30 mn d attente)

Great location, lovely walk through the tea plantation. Lovely hostess and host. + Excellent breakfast, the hostess was so kind and lovely. Welcome tea and cake were very welcome after the train ride. She had warmed the room for us with a heater as it was a chilly day. Excellent location near the train and wonderful walk through a local tea plantation with lots of small waterfalls. Suggest you make time for this walk. They looked after our luggage after check out time. − Nothing. It was definitely worth what we paid for. It was our last night in Sri Lanka so we knew it was value for money. She even prepared dinner for us after a late train ride.

+ Amazing location, right next to a tea plantation and you can walk to the waterfalls and beyond. If you are staying only to take the train I recommend staying one more night just to explore the whereabouts, it's really beautiful and one of our highlights of Sri Lanka. It is also a really short walk to the train station. − Very humid.

Een warm en gastvrij verblijf met vriendelijke mensen, goed eten en een fijne service rondom de treinreis. + We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad. De locatie was goed en de mensen waren ontzettend aardig en gastvrij. Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, voelden we ons direct welkom. Het ontbijt en diner waren goed geregeld en er was genoeg aandacht voor ons als gasten. Een groot pluspunt is dat de eigenaar ook treintickets voor je kan regelen. Hierdoor hoef je niet zelf in de drukte en lange rijen te staan en kun je gemakkelijker de trein in. Dit maakte onze reis een stuk relaxter. Als je hier specifiek verblijft vanwege de treinreis, bijvoorbeeld om vroeg met de trein te vertrekken, dan kan ik deze accommodatie zeker aanraden. Een prettig verblijf met vriendelijke mensen en goede service!
