+ Despite placing "DO NOT DISTURB" sign at the door knob outside, staff still enter the room.

+ I think the hotel is good, just that the upkeep still need more effort. The breakfast is not good though.

+ Got a room that has a smell in it. Bedsheet was not changed and still with stains of blood only discovered on my last day. Can find long hair remaining from donno who. Was disgusted at the end of the day.

+ Room was rather dated but comfortable. The original room we got had a faulty aircon. Initially they suggested we wait for them to fix the aircon (possibly no gas, they weren't sure either) at 10.30pm. We requested a new room as it's late and we wanted to shower and sleep. Luckily this was granted. As with all our other stays at this hotel, it is comfortable. Bring your own blanket if you are travelling with a child and they are sleeping on the sofa. They'll charge for the blanket, we brought ours this time round. Breakfast-wise this time we didn't eat there. But from our other times at this hotel, the breakfast is very basic and will get you to lunchtime.

+ Checked into a room and AC was not working. Waited a while and still not working. Finally staff member came up and said they do have an issue with the AC. Moved to another room and was better. Unfortunately, the corridors were not air conditioned and was very uncomfortable.

+ Several parts of the room were falling apart, the ceiling near the air conditioner was mouldy, the ironing board holder wasn't screwed to the wall, the towel hanger was hanging off. The bathroom bath plug was filled with hair. In the bathroom we encountered a cockroach. The floor was constantly wet possibly due to the bath or toilet leaking. The do not disturb and clean room buttons were broken, thankfully they had signs... But they only cleaned our room once over 3 days so we had to buy toilet roll as we had ran out. This was a business suite and I expected better quality. But the building is outdated and requires maintenance or refurbishment..

Good value for money - except terrible breakfast + The Aifa always delivers when it comes to value for money, comfort and quality. The only negative is that the breakfast is actually awful. Such a shame, but it really is that bad. The only thing that looks remotely appetising in is the plastic displays of food!!!!
