Loved being back but the villas need a refresh + The staff were lovely. The romantic dinner was amazing. − The villas are a bit old and rundown. The farmers below burnt their fields two out of the three afternoons we were there and we were engulfed in smoke leading to headaches.

Great for hobeymoon couple + Over looking Ayung river water rafting finishes rt at hotel . Great pool. Staffs are super polite smiling and friendly. − Very steep ( they do come immediately with buggy upon request) aged people got to be careful .

Super nettes Personal. Toller Ausblick! + Der Empfangsbereich ist sehr einladend und schön gestaltet. Unser Unterkunft hatte einen privaten kleinen Infinity Pool. Der Ausblick von dort in den Dschungel war wunderschön. Das großzügige Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber es ist sauber. Inkludierte Rafting und Trekking Tour war super. − Man sieht der Unterkunft an einigen Stellen das Alter an. Auch die Liegenauflagen sind verblichen. Am Pool bzw. den Liegen wäre ein kleiner Beistelltisch ratsam. Aber für die Lage und den Blick vom Pool in den Dschungel drückt man gerne ein Auge zu.

+ Kupu Kupu Barong villas are absolutely beautiful. Classic Balanese architecture and surrounded by nature 🦋. Kupu Kupu is my favourite place to stay in Ubud. Central Ubud is close by with free transport to take you there. The villas are spotless, the staff are lovely and the food is great! 10/10

We enjoyed every minute in the location and we do recommend it highly , as its value for money is more than perfect + Amazing style, hospitality is brilliant , all the staff were friendly and helpful especially our friend Sumadi, food was very good, amazing views − There wasn’t Hot Water for showers, need to improve cleanliness a little bit

A beautiful and relaxing stay surrounded by nature, with amazing activities, lovely river views and a perfect escape fro + Very nice villas in a beautiful setting, with lovely views over the river. The location is perfect, surrounded by nature and away from the hustle, bustle and traffic of central Ubud, while still being close enough to enjoy the area. The activities were excellent — the rafting was absolutely amazing and one of the highlights of our stay. We also really enjoyed the trekking with a fantastic local guide who knew everything about the village and the surrounding area. Very good breakfast and a lovely spa. A very enjoyable and relaxing stay overall. − If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the area around the private pool: some of the fittings felt a little outdated, and the cleanliness could be improved. That said, having a private pool was a great feature that we really enjoyed.
