Peaceful and well appointed + Beautiful setting on the river. Rooms are very comfortable with nice extra touches such as a small kitchenette. Real coffee with a French press. Quiet allows for a good sleep. Delicious breakfasts. Staff are friendly and helpful.

+ Beautiful location − There was a mix up with our rooms. One room’s bin was still full of previous guests take away boxes. There was no water next to our bed on arrival.

A pleasant stay with spacious rooms and good service, but slightly overpriced for the overall experi + We stayed in one of the suites, and the room was exceptionally spacious, comfortable and generally well presented. The bed was comfortable, and the staff at reception were professional and helpful. We needed to leave early the next morning, and they kindly prepared breakfast for us in advance. It was perfectly acceptable, although not exceptional. We also had dinner at the property, and the lamb shank was excellent and very good value for money. The setting next to the river is pleasant and has a lot of potential. − My main concern is value for money. The property feels slightly overpriced for what you receive, particularly at the upper end of their room offering. Nothing was seriously wrong, but there are a number of smaller maintenance and presentation issues that could be improved. Very pleasant stay. + Breakfast was very good with good service. The room was spacious and modern. Location very pleasant right next to the Orange river. − The iron staircase to the first level suite was somewhat steep and narrow, especially for elderly people. This is not to be expected from a five-star establishment.
