Incredible view, incredible hotel. + The views are incredible, they almost look photoshopped. I’ve never seen an ocean so blue and sand so white. The bar staff and hotel crew were amazingly kind, they went above and beyond for us as well as the other guests we met there along the way. The rooms themself are very modern with a solid WiFi connection and powerful Air conditioning. Plenty of electrical outlets which power both UK and EU plugs. There are plenty of comfortable places to sunbathe and lounge both in and out of the sun. The pool has a few different layers on the edge so you can either have just your feet in the water or your legs or your half body. The hotel also has easy access to the beach via a staircase. There are also a Masai tribe that guard the hotel 24/7 they are Incredibly friendly and will teach you a lot about themselves and the country/community. One recommendation I make is to always ask the hotel staff to book you a taxi as they can get a good ‘local price’ th…

Definitely would not recommend + We had a problem with our electricity and our water without it till 2:30 in the afternoon until we check out unexpectedly due to lack of response from management waited all day to get basic necessaries checked out early so unhappy ruined our day − And they didn’t have any power, electricity and the upper management was very unresponsive

Beautiful place, wonderful people, and a stay that genuinely felt like home. + The location is beautiful, but what really made our stay special was the people. Everyone was incredibly warm, attentive and welcoming throughout our stay. Cecilia especially went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and always made us feel at home. Mr. Shaban, the manager, was equally amazing genuinely kind, helpful and always attentive. The whole experience felt warm and personal rather than just another hotel stay. − Honestly, nothing significant. We had a really enjoyable stay.

For either a short or extended stay, I highly recommend Salt & Coral Hotel and Restaurant. + We had the larger private suite with a sea view for 13 nights, which was perfect as it provided a sitting area in the evenings away from the main complex. The rooms were clean, fresh, spacious & the cleaners arrived each day to tidy up & restock the condiments. . The View from the patio area looked directly onto the beach and we were not overlooked either. Breakfast was a delight, a good choice of food & drinks and we were never rushed to finish. Here I'd like to thank again Cecilia, our concierge & Mr Shabani, front desk manager who went beyond being helpful & truly made us feel very welcomed. Both were professional and added to our enjoyment of staying at the Salt & Coral Hotel. We arranged our day trips with Cecilia, Prison Island to see the tortoises & then on to Nakupenda Island for a beach lunch finishing with a historical guided tour around Stone town - an interesting but da…
