Backpackers Convenience. + Location − All the power point sockets weren't working.in the room is stayed in. So was unable to charge my cellphone. Room was adequate for the price. Rooms need an upgrade. Curtains were shabby but adequate for the price.I guess. For a backpackers it probably I guess it did its job offeringreasonablypriced accommodation.. On the plus side the location is great. Next to the Wellington railway station. Food and beverages shops in close vicinity.

+ Cheap, good location almost half way between CBD hospo areas and the stadium. − Mix up with the booking, booked a double room and got put into a twin, no other doubles were available so had to suck it up and grin and bear it.

Day I checked in I checked out. A friend gifted me with an upgrade in different hotel. + reasonable. − 4th floor accommodation was not satisfactory. Big difference from my experiences in December 2025.

Basic accommodation, clean, comfortable and great value. + I was not planning on spending much time in my room while I was in Wellington, so my primary concern was having somewhere secure, clean and comfortable to keep my suitcase and sleep at night. Hotel Waterloo delivered. I opted for a double room with private bathroom. It was very basic and dated but it was spotlessly clean and really comfortable. It had a tv, microwave and coffee making facilities. The wifi was strong. It was quiet and I got a good nights sleep. My flight was later on the day of check out and they stored my bag in a storage locker at no extra charge. Staff were all friendly. The location was great and I walked everywhere I needed to go. − Nothing.

バックパッカーの人にはいいと思う + 建物・部屋全体は古いが清潔に掃除が行き届いていた、 − 何かの臭いを消すためなのか、強い匂いがした。 自分が予約した部屋の写真のイメージと全く違う部屋だった。 そのことを伝えるとすぐに部屋を変えてくれたが、ドアノブやタオルハンガーのネジが外れていたり、シャワーのホース部から水が漏れてしまうため水の勢いがなく、髪を洗う気になれなかった。 とても残念だが２泊の予約を１泊で切り上げた。
