Great Staff and amazing cocktails + The reception area is instagram perfect, the buffet was good , the staff, the pools and the cocktails were also amazing − the second room we moved to the finishings were not so great and the toilet had a sewerage smell. Will need to work on the plumbing when doing the renovation.

Bon séjour et cadre reposant. + L’accueil et l’hospitalité − Pas le niveau d’un 4 étoiles au niveau de la chambre car besoin d’un bon rafraîchissement . Le vin au verre n’est pas de la qualité d’un 4 étoiles. Le vin en bouteille pour la demi pension est trop cher (36€ de base).

+ Due to renovations at the hotel we originally booked, we were offered alternative accommodation at Veranda Grand Baie, which is part of the same hotel group. We were very happy with the arrangement and the alternative hotel. The location is excellent, with everything you need conveniently nearby. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, attentive, and polite throughout our stay. They were always willing to assist and made us feel very welcome. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and truly appreciated the excellent service and hospitality. − Unfortunately, there were also some things that could have been better. During the two weeks we stayed at the hotel, the food was basically the same every day. The dinners were mostly based on Indian cuisine, with very little variety. The only exception was our last evening, when the chef decided to take matters into his own hands and prepared the best dinner we had during our entire stay — it was absolutely fantastic! The perfect hotel for the perfect holiday + This has to be probably our best holiday made in large part due to the amazing hotel and staff at the Veranda Grand Baie. We cant praise them enought for their efforts and making our family holiday so memorable. We are truly sad to be back home now. We will miss the Veranda so much.
