A haven in heaven + This exclusive resort measures up with reams of excess joys, ones that have to be experienced to be fully appreciated. On arrival, guests are greeted with possibly the most delicious rose lemonade in the elegant setting of the hotel’s main campus lounge. We meet our butler, Yassin, who convinces us that his job is to ensure every detail of our individual preferences will be accommodated. Then begins our brief journey into the luscious oasis of tropical gardens and small private villas in one of the chauffeur driven open buggies. We arrive at the door to our home for the next week. Nestled quietly amongst the palm trees, bamboo and magenta bougainvillea are the guests’ villas. Our door opens on to a courtyard scented with orange flower, drifting and harmonising with the soft gentle lapping of water in the pool and jacuzzi, all lit with Moroccan tea lights. The air-conditioned interior, with its palace like proportions and high-quality furnishing, is immaculate and w…

An oasis in the middle of Marrakech + An oasis in the middle of Marrakech if you visit during sunmer. A stunning hotel with expansive rooms that provides a level of service that is second to none. The housekeeping staff particularly deserve a tip of my hat due to the attention to detail. Thank you also to our butler Ali who helped us book a venue for the Morocco vs Netherlands game. The best though was the spa, wow. The hammam and the massage we got for the Tangerine Delight (I can't remember the proper name) was the best in our 3 week holiday across Morocco. − I do wish the hotel had more options to eat at but those that existed were great. The breakfast beef tagine was so flavorful!

+ We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The villa was beautiful, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere throughout the resort was peaceful and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options and exceeded our expectations. However, we felt that the food at the Chinese restaurant could be improved. We also noticed a few issues with the cleanliness of the bathroom. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, although this means that during certain times of the day, there can be some noise from landing aircraft. Overall, despite these minor drawbacks, we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend the hotel.

World-class luxury with one small drawback + What an incredible hotel. There is truly nothing to fault at this exceptional property. My private villa was absolutely stunning - beautifully designed, incredibly spacious, and every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The private pool was simply perfect and made it feel like a true sanctuary. Rather than using the golf carts, I chose to explore the property by bicycle, which was a wonderful way to experience the beautifully landscaped gardens and peaceful surroundings. The service, facilities and overall experience were outstanding, making this a most memorable stay. The only slight downside - and certainly not the hotel’s fault - was the noise from the nearby airport! Aircrafts were landing and departing every few minutes, which did detract somewhat from the otherwise tranquil and serene atmosphere. It’s a real pity, as everything else about this beautiful retreat is simply exceptional. I would happily return though.

A Fabulous Family Stay in Marrakech + We had a truly fabulous stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Marrakech. The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful, our villa was exceptional, and the service throughout was warm, attentive and faultless. A special mention must go to Christophe, the concierge, who planned our stay and arranged all our activities before we arrived. Everything was organised perfectly and thoughtfully tailored to our family, allowing us to relax and enjoy Marrakech without having to worry about any of the details. His recommendations and attention to detail made a real difference to our holiday. The entire team made us feel incredibly welcome, and nothing was ever too much trouble. A wonderful experience from beginning to end, and we would not hesitate to return.
