+ We stayed as a family (my wife and two kids), and Cinnamon Lakeside was perfect for us. The hotel is very family‑friendly with a peaceful environment and beautiful surroundings. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were extremely pleasant, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. We also enjoyed the wide variety of food options—every meal had great taste and good choices for both adults and kids. Overall, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. − Nothing major. Everything was smooth and comfortable.

Not worth for money! + Nice place for sure. Situated in the heart of Colombo. Bit expensive than other 4/5-star hotels in Colombo. Was a bit busy place. Room service was nice. Food was nice. View was nice. I had a room with the lake view. Room is average in size, but fits with one or two for a comfortable stay. − They took more than 50 mins to make up my room. I had to wait in the lobby. Had to inquire couple of times. I have given them the time of my arrival and the type of my room that I need via booking.com. They failed to accommodate the same. The room I requested was a smoking one; however, I had to go out for smoking as I saw the smoke detector on the ceiling. In the bathroom, shower holder was broken and the commode sheet was not properly installed. Cannot expect such an ignorance from a star class hotel. Rooms are not soundproof! Had considerable disturbances from the people who walked on the corridor.

Bien + Las instalaciones, y el precio que tiene. El personal era en general muy amable. El bar de la piscina muy barato con comida rica y personal competente. Y la discoteca buen ambiente. Diferentes zonas de ocio. − Tuvimos un contratiempo con el tema de la lavandería. No nos querían decir lo que costaba, luego nos dijeron que era gratis, nos lavaron la ropa y al devolverla querían cobrar 60€. Finalmente, tras hablar con jefes, encargados, etc. resolvimos el “problema” pero de primeras deberían de ser más claros con este tema ante los huéspedes , al tratarse de un alojamiento 5 estrellas, no se puede decir una cosa y luego otra. Evidentemente tiene un coste, que se diga inicialmente y así se evitan inconvenientes.
