Very good + Very rural, authentic, guesthouse with wooden interior and terrace. central location between Mekong and night markets. Very caring staff, free tea and coffee, Transport booking service. − All good.

Good location but overpriced and in need of a refurb + Location is good, right in the historic centre. − We booked this last-minute as our previous booking had fallen through and it was one of the few places available on a busy night in Luang Prabang. We were in the family room which was a bit damp and dusty and didn't look like anyone had stayed there for a while. It didn’t have much natural light either. Bathroom was also quite smelly and didn’t feel very clean. We moved to another guesthouse on the same street the next day which was almost half the price and was much nicer and cleaner, and even had a private terrace. From the pictures of the room and the comparatively high price we were expecting something much nicer.

Mediocre, at best + We rented two rooms. We could see into one through holes in the walls (separations between boards that make up the walls) from the hallway. The bathroom was full of spiderwebs. The shower had so much mineral deposits built up in the shower head that we had to remove it from the hose to get enough water to wash. The staff was extremely nice and friendly, but rarely present. The floorboards were so weak and noisy. There was one board in one of our rooms that we carefully avoided stepping on out of fear of falling through. I truly love these old wooden buildings. Yet, I also believe they need to be properly maintained. This one has not been. The staff is truly wonderful. Yet, rarely present. The location is fantastic, and there is nothing I could say to counter that fact. It's possibly the best spot for accommodations in the area. + Owner was very kind and helpful. Spoke English well. Convenient location 8 minute walk to the Night Market. One minute walk to the Mekong River. Where you can run into many tour agents.. and if you want to check out the alms giving in in the morning 30 second walk to the corner perfect in every way. Was totally satisfied and would return − 😁
