Best place to stay in Pakse! + The old colonial building and photos provide some charm. The rooftop bar provides an amazing view of the city as well as pretty good cocktails. Very central for bars and restaurants as well as the bus station to places like Vientiane. Your booking downstairs attached to hotel was very convenient! − Nothing major, the bathrooms are probably a bit small but can’t be helped.

+ We have a pleasant stay overall. It is a very nice property located in such a good location with variety of foods around. The hotel staff are welcoming and willing to hell with any request. The rooftop restaurant though is just an okay. Our food is nice but the cocktail still needs improvement with such price. − Nothing we don’t like

Bien dans l’ensemble. + L’emplacement et le décor donne une ambiance particulière ! − Les couloirs bruyants. Les bruits résonnent. Les chambres économiques sont vraiment petites et bruyantes mais on etait prévenus.

Stay here for over 12 years and it’s always a pleasant experience and a good value for money + It was very quiet for being downtown, the rooms were comfortable. It was nice having a rooftop restaurant right on the property and it was easy to find a parking space. − They could improve the breakfast selection and stay open until 11 instead of 10

Beautiful Views from Rooms + Views from floor 5 (and I imagine all upper floors) were amazing! I loved waking up to see the mountain, clouds, and giant golden buddha! Room was extremely clean, higher quality than expected, and the hotel is in a great location. Nice staff, too :)

Enjoyed our stay in this historic hotel. + A great sense of history in this hotel. Room very smart, if a little small. Rooftop restaurant was also a highlight offering great nighttime views across to the Mekong Bridge and other bright lights of Pakse. − Room was small and aircon did not function well. Opening the windows offered a pleasant breeze when the aircon stopped functioning.

+ Staff were helpful and I liked the included breakfast of pancakes, banana and fruit, I had it every day! Staff also moved me when I requested it at 1am due to somebody in the neighbouring room smoking. Room and facilities were good and hotel is nice − Can hear people in the neighbouring room/smell it anyone is smoking
