An oasis within an oasis + Pullman is an oasis within an oasis. Luang Prabang is very laid back with a beautiful coffee culture woven into the traditions of the monks that live there. The Pullman is a short ride away (they provide a shuttle to and from the post office every hour during the day) and really is stunning. Lush greenery, epic vistas and three lovely pools to relax next to. There is a well equipped gym. The staff were absolutely superb and our small problem at check in was resolved quickly and efficiently by Avril. Toto checked us in and was so helpful. Both Avril and Toto gave us WhatsApp numbers to contact when needed which was great. The breakfast was varied and the stand out was the variety of coffees available. Tong made the best piccolinos and always served with a huge smile. We stayed in a suite which was huge, clean, cool and had a very nice Illy espresso machine. Beautiful peaceful hotel - needs a bit more love + Very pretty location - swimming pool surrounded by rice paddies − No one at the bar or restaurants in the evening - so don’t expect atmosphere. Everyone goes into the local town for dinner - 6km away, but hotel provides a mini bus every hour. Pools need a serious clean - we did let the staff know.

Unforgetable stay in Luang Prabang + Our stay was a sensational unforgetable experience.It’s a peaceful and quiet stay. It’s not located in the heart of the city, but that’s actually what makes it so special. It’s the perfect place to truly rest and disconnect, surrounded by nature. The hotel grounds are stunning. They have a little club cart that takes you around the property if you don’t feel like walking, which is such a thoughtful and convenient touch. The facilities are gorgeous, the pools are incredible, and the landscape design is breathtaking with rice fields and ponds. We were surprised with the hotel little farm which rabbits, cows, and buffalos. Even though the hotel is surrounded by nature, our room — including the terrace — was well maintained, clean, with no bugs at all. That’s something very important for us (I’m not a fan of spiders!), and we’ve seen that can sometimes be an issue in other hotels in Luang Prabang, but definitely not here. Wonderful stay. Most comfortable bed + Great open space and facilities. Loved the large comfortable room and the best bed in a month of traveling. Very tasteful decor. Front of the house staff really hustled. − TV had an issue but the brought in a box that took care of my problem right away.

Great till i wasn't + This resort was great till it wasn't. Honestly its one of the nicer properties of Pullman I have stayed at. The gardens and views are beautiful and location is just outside of the downtown which I appreciated. The bed was comftorbale and Nato (or Toto) from reception was fabulous. He was helpful, kind, and handled many of our requests and reservations for tours and drivers. − At first everything seemed great. The 2nd night, we had water issues where it seemed like all the water pumps were turned off. The water coming out of the faucet was dark brown and boiling hot (no cold water). The toilet wouldn't flush either. The next morning it seemed ok. This happened the 3rd day in the morning too. Also we had inconsistency from the buggy service, sometimes waiting only 5 mins, other times over 30 mins, and the day of checkout we stopped waiting and walked ourselves from the end of the property where our rooms were to the lobby.

It was ok but not great + Beautiful park, quiet, calm, beautiful swimming pool, beautiful rooms and areas. − It’s an old hotel, empty, and looks like a gosht hotel. Staff doesn’t speak English. Far away from the city center which it’s good because it gives us quietness after the city center. It really needs refresh.

Beautiful location but some improvement needed. + It’s a beautiful setting! The property is well maintained and the workers are for the most part very kind! − The location is pretty far out of town and you have to pay around 8-10 dollars to go to town. Which then is almost $20 there and back. They have an hour to two hour shuttle. We met a worker that agreed to drive us around but he over charged us big time! It kind of put a bit of a sour taste in our mouth. Also the price of the restaurant is very high! A glass of wine was almost $16!

Great stay + Very big facilities with a lot of natural surroundings. Staff was really nice specially David and Nina who were always keen to assist. − We have an issue first day with a big spider in the room, however after reporting they were super concerned about it and upgraded us to a better room which was really nice.
