Memorable and welcoming stay + A full fledged 5* experience in the middle of the wilderness (Maara). Dominic and his team were very accommodating to all our needs and also comped us upto a better room and mostly a private safari and dining as we were honeymooning. Special mention to Moses and David, the restaurant managers and their team including Ben, Reagen, Hezron, Kelvin and all others. My wife is vegetarian and they went out of their way to make sure she was looked after and had plenty of delicious options. Chef David made every meal special and Moses and his team make sure everyone is well fed! Our safari guide, Danson left no stone unturned to show us all that the Maara had to offer. He was also incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife there, quick facts and ofcourse his driving over the rugged surrounds. All in all, the experience was very catered to our needs and we could not have asked for a more memorable stay! − N/A

The absolute best way to experience the Masai Mara in a fun, luxurious manner! + - Location inside conservatory makes it easy to spot and get close to ALL the animals during game drives - Our driver Erick was the best! - Incredibly friendly and accommodating team (Caleb, Erick, George, Rotiken!) - Amazing food for breakfast, lunch and dinner - this really adds to the experience - Beautiful, luxurious and clean rooms (you can hear the animals at night) - Incredible massages by Lenet! - The activities offered (balloon ride, walking safari's, village visit) − - The free laundry service wasn't great, some of our items returned to us shrunk

Perfect experience + Everything was just perfect! The food was cooked by five different chefs and each dish was amazing. The lodge has a great location, so the game drives were super enjoyable. The staff were all so lovely, warm and helpful — we felt really well taken care of. The rooms were spotless and had everything we could possibly need. We had such a wonderful time here — thank you for making it so special! − The only thing I can say is that we visited in July, and the evenings were actually really cold. It would be nice to have an electric heater or something similar in the room at night.

If you don't mind paying up, this is the RIGHT place to stay + Hospitality at the property was top-notch. Eric, our driver and guide, was phenomenal. He could spot animals from miles away. Olare Mara has a limited number of leopards (4 to 5), but Eric ran to the hotel to get us from breakfast when he knew that a leopard had been spotted and drove us quickly to the location. We were able to witness the leopard alongside its cub. Invaluable experience. The location of the property is also spectacular. If I'm not mistaken, Olare Mara has the highest density of cats. And I can definitely vouch for it − This place is definitely pricey! Not a little pricey - significantly pricey. Nothing about the experience dissapointed me but it definitely pinches when you have to pay a arm and a leg to book this property. Since this was a once in a life experience, I didn't mind paying for it, but note that there is a conservancy fee on top of the room rate. For 2 people, it is $260/night
