Beautiful, extremely clean and well maintained apartment in a quiet location for a family of 5! + Easily picked up keys from a lockbox at the front door. Host sent box code prior to arrival. − I wish there were hooks in the bathrooms for towels and a rod/closet for hanging clothes.

Prachtig nieuw en schoon appartement, zeer rustig gelegen + Prachtig nieuw appartement, heel rustig gelegen. Goede uitvalsbasis als je eea wil bezoeken aan de zuidkust. Boodschappen moet je vooraf hebben gehaald (dit was ons bekend), want er is niks in de buurt. Prima voorzieningen om een (kleine) maaltijd te bereiden. Schoon. Instructies voor aankomst zijn ook duidelijk. Geen personeel gezien. Je krijgt een deurcode, zoals gebruikelijk bij meerdere accommodaties in IJsland. − ---

Just as it should be! + Very nice apartment that has everything you need. Comfortable, spacious. − We strategically picked this location, but to be honest - it’s in the middle of nowhere. Not really a problem for us, but be aware of that.

+ Mooie locatie. Ruim appartement met voldoende zitruimte. De bedden waren goed. De communicatie over toegang en de voorzieningen. − Dit was ons duurste appartement in Ijsland dus de verwachtingen waren hoog. Jammer dat een aantal details niet op orde waren. De ventilator in de badkamer/wc maakte veel lawaai maar gaf onvoldoende ventilatie: na het douchen kon je in de badkamer geen hand voor ogen meer zien vanwege de waterdamp. Voor wat betreft de keuken: er is geen afzuigkap en het servies is niet geschikt voor de magnetron. De kopjes en (slechts twee) mokken hebben geen oortjes en worden heel warm indien gevuld met hete drank. Ze zijn dan niet op te tillen.

Wonderful apartment, highly recommended! + Beautiful, clean and spacious apartment with all the necessary amenities. The view from the north window was absolutely amazing. Very quiet also, we had a great night sleep here. Free parking in the courtyard. Will make a great base for exploring the south coast.

Brandschoon en volledig uitgerust + Brandschone accommodatie. Appartement zag er keurig uit, van alle gemakken voorzien. Communicatie verliep soepel. Locatie dichtbij doorgaande weg is praktisch, ook niet al te ver van Skogafoss waar we een fantastische daghike hebben gedaan. Niet al te ver van een leuk koffietentje (Amma Jona) en restaurant (Gamla fjósið). − Het Appartment is gehorig, fijn als de bovenburen eerder gaan slapen dan jij 😉. Bovendien is de prijs zelfs voor IJslandse begrippen aan de forse kant.
