Preço muito elevado, apoio ao cliente inexistente. + Localização − Preço muito elevado, apoio ao cliente inexistente. O local em si é de fácil acesso, o que facilitou a chegada e a saída durante a nossa estadia na Islândia. A televisão não funcionava e tentámos resolver a situação através de várias vias: mensagem direta para o número fornecido pelo booking, e também por email, incluindo um pedido de sugestões para jantar nas proximidades. Lamentavelmente, não obtivemos qualquer resposta ou apoio durante toda a estadia, o que nos deixou seriamente incomodados. Sentimo-nos completamente ignorados enquanto hóspedes, sem qualquer acompanhamento por parte do anfitrião.

− Bedroom is very small and hardly a space to move around. Had an enquiries about how to lower the temp in the unit so made a several attempts to reach to the owner through phone and WhatsApp messages. Never received a call back or message so that was a let down.

+ Struttura molto bella, nuova e adatta anche a un soggiorno di più giorni. Attrezzata di tutto il necessario in cucina e posizionata praticamente lungo la strada 1 ma senza alcun problema di rumori dovuti alla strada. Alloggio in legno molto caldo e accogliente. Consigliato − L’acqua della doccia non era proprio calda e non ne usciva molta. Forse il prezzo un po’ troppo alto

− Už před příjezdem jsme se snažili ubytování kontaktovat, ale ani jedno z čísel nefungovalo. Po příjezdu se ukázalo, že v chatičce, kterou jsme měli mít, už někdo bydlí. Telefon ani WhatsApp nikdo nebral ani neodepisoval. Situaci nakonec vyřešila náhodně přítomná uklizečka, ale takovýto přístup k hostům je nepřijatelný. Celkově je vidět, že majitelé mají hosty jen na vydělávání peněz a do zařízení neinvestují.

Do not book this place! Terrible experience! Cabin booked and paid but not available! Refund denied! − Our stay at Welcome Holiday Home Lambafell in August 2026 was a desaster. We had booked two cabins. When we arrived at the site (in the evening, in the middle of nowhere with heavy rain and two small kids) both of the cabins were occupied by other guests! There was no staff and nobody answered our several phone calls. Only the owner of the nearby restaurant was able to reach the hosts. They told us to take two other cabins via self-checkin. However, when we opened the key boxes, one of them was empty. The hosts did not answer any calls (until today) and no staff was present. In the end we had to book another room at a hotel for the night. The money paid for the cabin we could not use (€ 450) was never refunded! Until today neither Welcome Holiday Home Lambafell nor booking.com is willing to refund the money for the booked and paid unavailable cabin! Back at home we are now p…

Good overnight stop off + Location was stunning and the cabin was comfortable. − We had no issues with booking and accessing our cabin but did have to help several other couples who used a different booking site as the links for them didn't work. On the information it said there was a washing machine but on checking with the owner who was very helpful it was at another complex 1 5 hrs drive away.

Comfortable, beautiful stay. + Beautiful location. Nice to have a kitchenette. Big, beautiful window. − Hot inside from the sun coming in the big window and hard to cool down. Second day we left the drapes closed while out and it was better.

Buono + Ottima posizione. − Le strutture necessitano di un po di revisione sotto tutto gli aspetti. Dai letti, struttura, riscaldamento, e porte. Da migliorare sicuramente, con la zona che hanno avrebbero una grande potenzialità.
