+ Location quite accessible on foot. Staff pleasant and accommodating. Dinner and Breakfast delicious. Bar provides an excellent atmosphere. Room/s large, clean, and welcoming. However an unpleasant stale/damp smell in our accommodation, throughout the entire stay, unfortunately. Tainted our experience.

Another great stay at the Welbeck + I have stayed at the Welbeck on two previous occasions and this time with my wife for her first time. The staff were again brilliant. The food is 10/10 again. The rooms are a bit dated but very clean, as with old hotels the sound proofing between roons isn't the best but thats to be expected. The reason we will return in the future is, the quality of customer care and exceptional food. We really would recommend this hotel as a values for money stay.

+ We were made very welcome as we were attending a family funeral on the Isle of Man. The staff were very helpful in several ways. The hotel was clean and furnished nicely and the food was very good.

+ staff were friendly, lovely breakfast, our room was on top floor with a sea view which was nice even though other hotels infront off this one, room was spacious big comfy bed double sofa ,tv plus a small fridge which we could keep are drinks cool. would stay here again.

+ Lovely hotel in quiet area but inly 10 minutes walk to the centre of Douglas. Excellent breakfast, lunches and evening meals also available. Friendly, helpful staff and clean and well-equipped rooms.

+ Our room was lovely, large and airy, with three windows including patio doors onto a little balcony and a view of the sea. There were 3 radiators, so I’m sure it would be cosy in the winter too. We had a king size bed, a sofa and plenty of storage. The bathroom had an excellent shower over the bath. Cleanliness and room servicing is excellent. The location is quite quiet, a side road off the promenade, and it’s convenient for all transport options, with bus stops nearby. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the food choices and quality generally very good. I would be happy to stay at the Welbeck again and to recommend it.

+ This establishment is amazing! The rooms are cozy and roomy. If you're visiting for the races the grandstand is just a short walk from the hotel. The island is very accommodating in general but the biggest star of the show is Lucy. She helped me get a bicycle delivered to the hotel for me to ride around on, then showed me where to dry my clothes after the island gave me a free shower. She had all the information I could ever need to find things in town, and when I left medication in the refrigerator by mistake on the way to the airport, Lucy found it, called me and promptly booked a taxi to deliver it to me at the airport! 12/10* I would absolutely recommend the Welbeck. After over 100 years of service, they still make you feel like guests in a home.
