Great, centrally located, Lidl nearby. + This was a wonderful right-off-downtown stay for our family of four. Stairs up to the door, living room + balcony + kitchen + one bedroom + spacious bathroom + clothes washer. Upstairs for one more bedroom + full bath. Two blocks to the Lidl. Two block to center square and pubs. − No parking on site. Very cheap parking four blocks away past the Lidl.

Met all our needs and more! + Great location, quiet, clean, and with a kitchenette, sitting area, and washing machine, it was much better than a hotel. − There was nothing not to like, although some might struggle with the set of stairs required to get to it.

Good location and facilities but spoiled by lack of sleep. + Excellent location. Apartment had everything needed and a bonus of two bedrooms. Great kitchen/diner/lounge and the treat of a bath as well as a shower. Staff were polite and helpful (with the exception detailed below). We didn’t eat there so can’t comment on food. − Receptionist on arrival was quite rude when we commented on the lack of signage for the apartment. Told us it was in the email that it is part of The Western Hotel. This is only visible on the second page of small print and she could have been more understanding. To get to the apartments you go through underground car park and steep steps so not for the faint hearted or unfit! Woken by bin collection outside our window crashing and shouting at 5.15 and 4.45 am followed by further noise of either barrels or gas bottles being rolled so no chance of getting back to sleep. Reception said they were aware of the problem but conversation with the bin collection manage…

+ Gute Lage zum Eyre Square und zum Busbahnhof. Gutes Frühstück im Hotel zubuchbrar − Vorne direkt an der Straße, vom Sofa direkter Blick in die Einfahrt des Busbahnhofes, hinten direkt an einem Parkplatz. Einrichtung wirkt sehr steril. In einem der Schlafzimmer lässt sich keinerlei Fenster öffnen.

I really enjoyed the location and accommodation in general, hotel staff was amazing, just the shower thing was an issue. + Well located and recently renovated. − Shower was strange, water would go from pipping hot to cold, that should be checked as people might get burned. Couldn’t even get a proper shower and wash hair as was afraid of the water temperature.

Topverblijf op goede locatie + Halverwege de vakantie zochten we iets met wasservice en vonden dit in Galway. Inchecken in het hotel ging soepel, parkeren mocht in hun garage en daar werd niks voor gerekend. Er was hulp met bagage en het appartement was ruim en netjes en op korte afstand van het centrum. Wat wil je nog meer! O ja, en de wasmachine had ook droogmogelijkheden. Helemaal geweldig!

Trop cher pour les prestations proposées. + Emplacement proche du centre. Personnel serviable et agréable. − L'appartement est vraiment petit et très basique, avec un intérieur très minimaliste, impersonnel et pas très moderne. Équipements élémentaires. Il y a une petite terrasse totalement minérale et grise, sans vue, sans végétation et sans endroit où s'asseoir. Même chose pour l'accès principal à l'immeuble : gris et minéral, sans possibilité de se garer. Honnêtement, quand on arrive, ça plombe un peu l'ambiance des vacances. Décidément, beaucoup trop cher.
