Shamrock was a decent hotel albeit a little dated. + Location was a little outside of town which was nice; however, lots of parties made for a noisy experience. − Our room location was directly above the main entrance and quite loud.

+ Staff excellent. Service excellent . − I’m single mum with 3 children away for the night. There was not television in our apartment. Telly was needed . We could have watched a film when we home after having dinner in your lovely restaurant.

+ Location good − Quality and choice for breakfast was not very good especially for people who don’t want to have a fry - no cheese, ham, granola and very small choice of pastries.

Happy to return . + Hotel was warm and clean staff were helpful and friendly short walk from athlone town food was great no late night room service but we were able to get food delivered quite late value for money if I was staying in athlone again would choose the hotel for sure 😀

Très bien pour une nuit d escale + C est un bel hôtel, spacieux, la chambre familiale l est également. Très calme. A proximité même à pied du centre du village. Le petit déjeuner était très bon. Nous avons pu avoir une prise adaptateur pour recharger nos téléphones. − L accès à un réfrigérateur est important. Nous faisons souvent des road trip en irlande et avons donc des choses à mettre au frais ... Le restaurant est assez cher même si on nous offre des voucher de réductions pour les enfants. Le spa est très mal indiqué et indépendants, malgré des tentatives, nous avons abandonné l idée de réserver des massages en bénéficiant des 10% de l hôtel...

An unexpected delight + A lovely hotel we were upgraded at check In. The room was fabulous. The staff and service were impeccable. Great breakfast selection. Just a nice stroll into the town. We will definitely return!
