Perfect for fun, romance or quiet relaxing + Perfect location if you don't mind walking a little bit. It was really quiet and relaxing. Joey was fantastic, and you can feel that they considered all sort of customer needs and details. Room is OK, and the breakfast was great. − Nothing.

+ Liked the check in staff at the desk. Location is nice. − Pre check in communication was very poor. We asked about changing dates and there was no response - what followed was very inflexible and unhelpful communication from the hotel. Bathroom walls had some dirt that hadn't been properly cleaned.

Great value, overlooking the beach. + I've visited many times. It's not luxury but you can't beat the most recent deal I got on booking.com − Having to make arrangements for late check-in only after 9pm is a pain - why can it not be possible beforehand?

Wunderschön, sehr gerne wieder! + Das Personal ist sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit, ich habe mich sehr willkommen gefühlt. Das Zimmer ist für europäische Verhältnisse recht klein, bietet aber einen traumhaften Blick auf die Bucht. Super sauber, hübsch gemacht, mit Wasserkocher, kleinen Snacks, vielen Handtücher und so weiter bestens ausgestattet. Sehr bequemes Bett. Das Bayshore teilt sich Rezeption und Terrasse mit dem Concerto, auf der Terrasse wird direkt am Strand ein solides klassisches britisches Frühstück serviert. Direkt daneben sind zwei Restaurants, die Hongkonger Frühstück anbieten. Das Haus liegt direkt an einem Wanderweg, der zu sehr schönen Ecken der Insel führt. Unter der Woche ist es super ruhig, am Wochenende kommen ein paar Ausflügler aus Hongkong. W-Lan stabil und überall, ich war auch zum Arbeiten dort und es ging bestens. Super Ausgangsort, wenn man ruhig und grün wohnen will und gleichzeitig Hongkong besuchen möchte. − Mir hat der Fußweg vom Dorf von Lamma und von …

+ Location, breakfast nice, − The inn, it is quite old and small also the smell of it. It smells mouldy, the humidifier makes horrible noise— I think they need to seriously invest a bit to renovate this things.. but the location and food is worth the price. Lots of mosquitoes..

Perfect get-away for local Hong Kong people and a delighful adventure for tourists! + The Bayshore Inn on Lamma Island is a hidden jem in all of Hong Kong. It's situated right next to the only sandy beach on the island that has a protected swimming area and lifeguards. Nicely appointed with everything you need. Delighfully decorated. Great, simple breakfast. Friendly and caring staff. Gordeous views of the sea and sunsets. Immediate access to the walking paths that cover the island. And there are many restaurants in nearby Yung Sue Wan. Peaceful, quiet, and comfortable. − Would like to see some variety in the breakfast offerings. Maybe changing every day for three days. Some variety would be nice. I didn't have a chance to try their lunch or dinner, but I am guessing it is quite good.

I would recommend and I would book again. + This is an excellent getaway accommodation from the city. Located at the beach, nature all around, quiet during the evenings and the nights. Athmosphere is laid-back, tranquil and positively off-beat. (The oft-mentioned energy station does not bother the eye, or nor the ear.) Rooms are small and basic, but clean and comfy and the price-quality ratio is excellent. Balcony is a real plus during the evenings. Some tips: pack light; there is no motorized transport available from the harbours. Restaurants may close relatively early. The small grocery stores are located in Yung Shue Wan.

Nice beach, great staff! Rooms could be nicer… + The staff are amazing and Hung Shing Yeh beach is my favorite! As is Lamma. Nice hiking and just a great retreat/balance to Hong Kong. It’s a bit of a hike from the ferry, esp in the heat, so don’t bring big suitcases! − The rooms are VERY small. When I got upgraded to a room with a balcony, it was much nicer, even though the toilet was in the shower, haha! It’s also a bit mildewy (humid Hong Kong) and there were marks of mosquito killings on the walls — this could be cleaned.
