I often visit the city to see my sons and will definitely use this hotel again. + Room clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. Great view from the window of Carlton Hill. Continental breakfast had plenty of choice. As a female alone, I felt safe. − A moveable shower head would have been better than a fixed one for me.

Mai più + Posizione abbastanza vicina al centro. − Rapporto prezzo/qualità pessimo. 300 euro a notte per una camera separata dall’albergo principale, bagno microscopico, niente frigo, colazione carissima non inclusa. Parcheggio non incluso e a pagamento in strada a 50 euro al giorno. Un incubo.

+ The staff were exceptional. Our TV wasn't working and someone came immediately. He was very patient even when it was obviously something we were doing wrong The location was terrific and the breakfast buffet was plentiful. The room was very clean and had a giant window we propped open. − The room was extremely small. To get from one side of the bed to the bathroom you had to shuffle sideways and watch that you didn't bump your head on the TV.

+ La atencion del personal,la ubicacion y la cama. − Me parece un alojamiento carísimos para lo que ofrece. Y el desayuno muy justo a mi parecer. Entiendo que ha coincidido con el Festival,pero 900€ por 3 noches ,para lo que ofrece me parece excesivo.

Ganz nett, aber etwas überteuert. + Ich hatte im Vorfeld einige sehr schlechte Kommentare über die Unterkunft gelesen. Wir hatten Zimmer 103 - das war klein, aber für drei Personen für eine Nacht ok. Die Ausstattung war gut: Bügeleisen, Ventilator, Fön, Wasserkocher, ... Auch die Sauberkeit war in Ordnung. Die Lage ist für einen Stadturlaub in Edinburgh gut. Angeblich hat die Unterkunft einen Parkplatz. Als ich danach fragte, wieß man mich nur auf die Parkplätze an der Straße hin. Professionell geht anders. − Das Frühstück war ziemlich einfach. Auch war das Hotelpersonal nicht übertrieben freundlich ... nein, es war sehr kühl-distanziert und nicht wirklich bereit, Fragen zu beantworten oder mehr als die nötige Kommunikation zu betreiben, sei es beim Ein- oder Auschecken oder beim Frühstück. Für den Preis einer Nacht unter der Woche konnten drei Personen im ibis budget Glasgow drei Nächte von Freitag bis Montag übernachten und zahlten nur 47 Pfund mehr.

A warm welcome was given and we were shown to our room which was spacious and comfortable. + The location was ideal being very near the city centre. We booked a small double room with on-suits but was given an apartment without on-suite which was fine but would have preferred on-suite. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Location was very quiet. Very good standard of cleanliness except for the stained carpet! − The stained carpet was not good.
