    A fantastic “five star, three star” hotel in the heart of Cairo. Atmospheric and faded grandour galore. + A beautiful old, creaky, throwback-to-yesteryear (in a good way) hotel that feels like it’s not changed all that much since the 1930s. I mean this in a good way, but expectations ought to be managed a little. − Some may consider parts dated. I call it classic

    + An unbelievable place with so much history! It truly feels like stepping back in time. Amazing, honest, polite and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms. Delicious breakfast on the rooftop terrace with incredible views over downtown Cairo. One of the most memorable hotels I've ever stayed at.
