+ Hansel hands down was the best entertainer, very good experience, very attentive for issues, rooms were not comfy but put cushions on bed and slept like a baby. Mostly great food and great drinks, most people very pleasant, only thing they said we could go anywhere on adults side and went to one place off beach and didn’t get talk to at all, wish more people spoke English, need better info when entering, specially because it was my first time. I would go back for sure

+ Overall, Catalonia Royal is okay. We booked this resort based on the promise of snorkeling off the beach, which was not possible. I would not recommend going to this resort in September/ October as it is seaweed season. The beach was covered in rotting seaweed. The water was murky, stinky and overall not swimmable. The resort from a first glance looked nice, but once you get to your room, you’re hit with a damp musty smell that does not go away. The smell of wet mold is most noticeable in the casino at the other Catalonia, which explains why it’s empty most nights. Facilities seem to be dated and could use maintenance. Pools were clean but good luck finding an umbrella at chairs, because they’re either nonexistent or people have reserved their chairs at 7am with towels and personal items. Overall, I don’t understand how this resort is even ranked as 8.2/10… I would say accurately it is more like 6.8/10. Out of the resorts we’ve stayed in Punta Cana, this one ranks the lowes…

+ Realmente seccionar todo fue excelente solo un malentendido quizás con una empleada algunas cosas que tendrían que mejorar es la comunicación de servicio por teléfono para uno hacer pedido de ron Service en la noche para no pedir comida o algo por el estilo porque falla mucho y en ocasiones uno quiere comer en la noche porque tiene hambre y no pude hacer eso porque el teléfono nunca funcionó

+ This Resort was an amazing experience. My partner enjoyed this property, we also got very friendly service from the entertainment team. 10/10. The only downside from us was the food quality over quantity. In addition the room smelled like wet towel and had small amounts of mold in the bathroom due to no circulation. All outdated construction that they currently were working up as we enjoyed ourselves this week.
