+ The room view was appropriate and the Spa service was excellent. The facilities , grounds , pool are and beach were always in top shape. We really enjoyed our stay , this is our second visit to the property looking forward to number 3.

+ This was our second and last vacation at Lopesan. For families traveling with kids, there are plenty of activities to keep them entertained. The hotel and the property are beautiful, and the infrastructure is amazing — but that’s where the positives end. The beach is full of seaweed and looks like it’s not being cleaned at all. The music at the pool area is too loud, and there are many boats on the beach playing the same loud music. There’s no quiet place to relax. The pool towels were dirty and smelly. It seems like they don’t wash them properly — just dry and fold them. The food is below average, with the same limited selection at the buffets every day. The restaurants are just okay. The service is the worst we’ve ever experienced. There are no waiters on the beach or at the pool area — you might see one once a day. The staff is very difficult to communicate with and barely speak any English. We had to speak to at least four people before we could get our morning coffee. The…

+ Would have loved a swim up bar but besides that no complaints. The 24 hour bar restaurant is perfect. Loved the Mexican French and Steak House. Really enjoyed the sports bar. Went out and partied at Infinity lounge and the terrace bar and we also had a blast.

+ Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends. Staff very welcoming and many times we saw how much they care about giving very good service and having good facilities. They were all very hard working and friendly. The layout is very practical, well thought out and easy to follow after one day and everything is within a five minute walk. Everything is accessible for people with disabilities, walking is flat or with elevators and there is shade within 10 feet of you everywhere. The room was more than spacious enough with a large walk-in shower, very good water pressure and detachable wand and ceiling shower head as well as comfortable bed, couch and chairs, private balcony and well insulated for keeping sound out. There is a little smell when you walk into the room that disappears after a few minutes but that is probably true in all rooms along caribbean beaches.
