Really enjoyed the upgrade to a suite. My husband was recovering from surgery and needed a good rest. Thank you very muc + The atmosphere. Like a castle. − Prices were expensive.

Okay − It has been a while since I have been there so there were changes but no to my liking. The patio in the center of the hotel was a pleasant place to have a drink but that is no longer available. They no longer have any jazz playing which was always a draw for me but I guess its too costly for them. Lastly, the toilet paper in the room felt like industrial grade. This place is not cheap to stay at.

Shabby and overpriced + Location Size of room Comfortable bed Big bathroom with shower and bath and separate WC − Lack of storeage Irratic housekeeping Terrible Breafast offering Oatmeal that was too disgusting to eat Kitchen staff arguing so loudly we could here them and the F words in the breakfast room, and the woman in charge of the breakfast room refusing to take action, because it wasn't her job

Beautiful historic setting + The outdoor spaces that are tucked away in little nooks and crannies are quite beautiful, the Humber River trails are next door and the building itself is stunning with its historic beauty − A bit pricey

Bien + Grande chambre et literie plutôt confortable. Salle de sport. Extérieur agréable − Chambre assez vieillotte qui aurait bien besoin d'un rafraîchissement. Restaurant de l'hôtel bien, sans plus. Éclairage de la chambre peu efficace

While it wasn’t perfect, I would definitely stay there again. + Clean, friendly staff, nice, quiet location near the river and a subway stop. We were upgraded to a larger room which was very nice. − Limited restaurant hours. Things were a bit worn. The curtains were a bit torn along with some of the upholstery. Pillows were all the same, a bit thick. Main thing I didn’t like was that there was no way to let in fresh air. The windows were all shut off.

Un hôtel idéal pour un séjour au calme à Toronto. + Le style de l’hôtel, les équipements de la chambre (baignoire jacuzzi en plus de la douche), le parking inclus. − Le manque de connectivité de la TV (YouTube, Netflix, etc.).

Just staying overnight for a wedding downtown + Bed very comfortable everything very clean , old world aspect. Parking included. Toiletries, coffee in room all good. Beautiful neighborhood, wonderful surroundings while being close to the city. − My first door key didn’t work. Before going down I checked second key and it worked. I like a dark room, curtains can’t be closed. There is humming of machines always going. I like very quiet. Noisy hallways in the morning. Nowhere to leave the car in the entrance when checking in. Couldn’t figure out the tv remote to watch another channel than the one it was on.
