+ Great location within the Ice District. − For the price of the room, disappointed with the size of the bathroom. Barely any space to turn around between the sink, toilet and shower - definitely a bummer. Surprised that you have to pay extra for Wifi, unless you join the Rewards program. For over $400/ night, would except that wifi would be part of the basics. Pity, because l love the Marriot hotels.

Convenient location for a hockey game + Excellent accommodation, met all of our needs. We were in town for a hockey game, the indoor walkway to the arena is a bonus no need to worry about coats. Very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

− We ordered food delivery and we had to go to the lobby to pick it up. I gave front desk permission to let up our delivery driver. I was in my pajamas. Very inconvenient.

A nice relaxing stay with my wife. + Nice and clean. Spa was excellent − The downtown life hanging around but not much they can do about that

Comfortable room, great bed, lovely shower and fantastic in room dining + Great proximity to everything in the downtown core − Tricky having to leave and get to our car when my husband was called out for a medical emergency

10/10 would definitely return + Everything. We stayed in a suite. Staff were very professional and friendly and the place is run well. The lounge was clean and relaxing and gym facilities are incredible − We loved everything

5 star service in Edmonton as usual. + Stayed here a couple times at the winter 2025 / spring 2026 for Oilers games. I stayed here even though it was significantly more points than the hotel across the street, which should tell you something. This is my go to hotel in Edmonton for a number of reasons. The location is right next to the arena, the food and service in the lounge is top notch, room service is fast and good quality, the staff are amazing. This time I was upgraded to a corner room, with a great view of the arena. The room was large, with tons of windows allowing natural light, including the bathroom. Great option if you have family, as you can get a second room within the same adjoining small hallway exclusive to you. Will continue to return here.

Top notch hotel. Luxury. + Spent a long weekend here and this had to be one of my best experiences at a hotel. Staff here are over the top friendly and make your stay memorable. We stayed here for a getaway before our busy season. I mentioned that at one point prior to arriving and we got upgraded to a one bedroom suite. They decorated the room in romantic setting. They also sent up a bottle of champagne! Located beside the arena and downtown - lots of food choices within a 5-10 min walking distance. Valet was quick and efficient. Lounge was also good - breakfast was top notch and appetizers were enough to fill in for a supper one night we didn’t want to go back out. Pool and hot tub were good. Steam room was neat. Gym was one of the best hotel gyms I’ve seen. This was a luxury experience like non other. I’m confused why this is not rated 5/5!

+ The staff were pleasant − Most things....terrible breakfast and Executive lounge broken steam room bar staff poor attitude too...not too mention a fire alarm at 2am.
