Enjoyable family stay + We liked the location, easy walking distance to the beach and on a road with lots of bus access that can be used to explore further. Breakfast was very good. Unfortunately the water was too cold to try the pool but was a nice area to sit particularly of an evening for some drinks. − We arrived late evening and settled our payment on arrival . When leaving in the early hours of the morning to get a flight, I was told I needed to pay the remainder of the room. Informed them I had paid and kept being told I hadn’t. Luckily I could show my online bank statement but still they weren’t convinced. Then I located my receipt which showed payment. I would be concerned if someone hadn’t got their receipt they would be made to pay again!

Unpleasantly noisy sea view rooms overlooking a building site and the hotel is in need of a serious facelift. + Its location and walk ability is good. − I booked a sea view room with a balcony and got a sea view, with a great big building site in front of the hotel. They work 7 days a week, it’s noisy with drilling and breaking ground, as building a hotel and refurbishing an existing building is. It was awful and not relaxing or beautiful as you’d expect, especially for the price. The hotel as a whole is old and is in need of a serious facelift. Breakfast was chaotic over the weekend and it was clear that the staff were struggling to keep up with the turnaround of people.
