+ The personnel is very nice. − The hotel is in need of renovation. Also some the rooms with a side view to the beach are really dark. Choose left side and a close as possible to beach.

+ Emplacement − Chambre soit disant vue mer latérale mais finalement dans un boyau au fond entre 2 immeuble avec vue sur un mur à 2m. Pas d'eau chaude le 1er jour. Pas de ménage de la chambre le 1er jour

Disappointing views for the price. + Location was excellent, on the Copacabana sea front. There was a good taxi rank right in front. The decor was garish and generic but well used and went with the vibe of the place. Breakfast was good and varied with lots of options of fruits, juices, bread and cooked dishes. − The photo of the room was very deceptive. They used the term 'ocean side' to describe the room that hid the fact that despite it being on the part of the building that faced the sea, the room was at the back of a narrow gap, so the sea view was actually a very small strip between 2 buildings. When I complained with reception they gave me all manner of excuses. It was only when I threatened to block payment for false advertising that they accepted moving me to another room. It was larger but the view was still not correspondent to the image used.
