Excellent value for Bermuda + There is a lot commend this place. price is very reasonable by Bermuda standards. The hotel has good catering - recommend the meal plan, it is very good value, and the menu changes daily and is a good choice. Breakfast is good, usually served but occasionally a buffet. The decor is a little tired and in need of a refresh. Has a small private beach down steps. The standout feature is the staff, they were excellent, always friendly, very helpful. There is shuttle from reception to the bus stops - buses are a great way to get around Bermuda.

Wonderful resort + Our third time here did not disappoint! The view of the water and sunsets from our room was exceptional. Food was delicious as usual. So wonderful seeing employees who have been there since our first trip 35 years ago! The Lamb family runs a wonderful resort with many return customers.

OUTSTANDING! + Outstanding! I cannot say enough good things about Pompano Beach Club. The staff is by far the nicest and most helpful from anywhere we've stayed. We've been to Bermuda 6 times and Pompano is the best! The view is spectacular. The food is great and the value of including breakfast and dinner is unheard of! Bravo

NICKEL AND DIMING FOR UNCLEAN ROOMS + There are resorts in Bermuda far better than the Pompano. The staff were friendly, but our room had food under the bed, a candy wrapper, and rusty water came out of the tub with some debris. Pompano charged us $50.50 per day for room cleaning (which i didnt realize until I checked out). They didnt clean the room once while I was there. They changed out our towels and made the bed. The tub remained a bit dirty, any sand on the floor remained, even cups of coffee we brought to the room remained until we took them out, so what the heck was I paying for? If I had realized they would charge $50.50 a day for housekeeping, I would have placed a do not disturb sign on my door, especially because-ai can't emphasize this enough- they DIDN'T CLEAN THE ROOM. Their inclusive package includes breakfast and dinner, but not drinks or transportation. Other resorts gave us unlimited beverages, unlimited bottled water, free transportation passes for the busses and f…

Peaceful, scenic and delicious! + My husband and I booked a trip to Bermuda on the Bermuda Air website. The prices for April school vacation were very reasonable. We chose Coco Reef hotel based on reviews we had read. My husband received a text message three days before we were flying out stating that they (Bermuda Air) had overbooked the Coco Reef hotel and that we were going to be staying at Pompano Beach resort instead. We were never asked. Just switched. I had read the reviews and done the research. We chose Coco Reef based on its proximity to Hamilton and the fact that the hotel had just done recent renovations and upgrading to the rooms. There was much disappointment after hearing this news. We had a lovely week despite all of the frustration and changes in our plans. The staff is amazing at Pompano Beach. The views are incredible. Sunsets especially are beautiful! Beautiful location! + This place is amazing. Built into a hill with spectacular views and a secluded beach. Service was outstanding and the staff is excellent. They take care of any issue very quickly. They will shuttle you to the bus stop, small store, the ferry and even a small marina that is close by. By far is the food. Top notch. You can book a room with a meal plan. Breakfast, dinner or both. The dinners are excellent with many choices. Each dinner is a 5 course meal. The rooms are a little dated and some are more than others. They are very clean and attended to every day. The main complex has lots of stairs and no elevator so you need to be in decent shape. Walkers would not do well here. Some areas are accessible but most are not. It was about a 45 minute taxi tide from the airport or about 2/3 the way across the island.

The staff was great. The place itself was beautiful. + The location was incredible. The views were absolutely beautiful. − The room was not what was pictured on the website it needed update. They used a king size headboard, and put two small twin size beds against it.

+ The property is awesome, clear beautiful water on the private beach. Modern and private rooms with oceanfront views. Amazing food and amenities. But the absolute best is the staff. They made us feel like family members coming for a treasured visit. A big thanks to George, Ilene, Greg, Mr. CC and countless others who made our stay the stay-of-a-lifetime!

+ We didnt mind the fact the hotel is very tired, it's very dated and in desperate need of a renovation, but we could have looked past that as the beach is lovely. What really bothered us though is the room and hotel were generally filthy, even after complaining (Ive never complained about a hotel or restaurant before in my life) and showing the owner pictures of the mould and thick dust in the room, a very quick minimal clean was done of 1 window and the mouldy curtains and filthy rug were swapped, but most of the room remained filthy. If we could have left we would. My wife put on a brand new pair of socks. Within 5 minutes in the room they were black. The dinning situation is bizarre, they have a family of birds that is encouraged to live in both restaurants, its not charming, everything is just inevitably covered in bird pooh, and the birds help themselves to any food they can get, like the "continental breakfast" which is left out. Idyllic location and beautiful beach + You can argue that it needs updating and has some wear and tear, but you're paying for the views and the attention you get. It's a place we and many have returned to for 25 - 30 years. True luxury is found elsewhere on the island. This is a place with great food, individual attention, and good accommodations. We love the place and return when we can.

A rare gem of a hotel + This hotel offers the very rare experience and charm of Bermuda at its best. It is family run and this rare charm is felt in all aspects of the hotel. They truly care and do everything to make you feel welcomed and accommodated. Great staff, fantastic food in any of the restaurants,beautiful grounds, plenty of recreation at the hotel and the place is very clean. Our room was always kept clean and had top notch towels and bedding plus all modern amenities such as flat screen tvs, windowless ac and nice new flooring and curtains. Room never smelled musty either. Bathrooms were super large and very functional. Some areas of the resort and rooms show some age wear but the place by no means is run down. Over my 50 years of visiting Bermuda you will be hard pressed to find a gem like Pompano beach hotel and you will not find any that offers the same charm and value.

Wonderful week in a beautiful resort in beautiful Bermuda. + Food was absolutely spectacular. We all loved the pool and the ocean. Rafts were fun to use. Kids used the game room and some of the adults used the workout room. Wonderful facilty. The Lamb brothers are hands and adjust so nice. All the staff is wonderful. And the shuttle service was a real plus.

Great meal, great atmosphere, the best staff. + So enjoyed the fabulous July 4th Barbecue/Buffet last night. So much choice with every course with snow crab, smoked salmon, shrimp, mussels and oysters among the appetizers. Star of the show was the whole Maine Lobster as well as steak, ribs, chicken etc.the dessert station would have made a Parisian patisserie smile. The owner/ managers, Larry and Tom Lamb are always at hand and help create the friendly,family atmosphere with their always pleasant staff. Sadly for us, Larry and Tom are retiring but happy for them as they have put in a wonderful shift and fully deserve some time to themselves and their families.

Uniquely wonderful place to stay in Bermuda + Riding home from the airport and taking the time to write a review. We had a wonderful time here. We’ve been several times and it never disappoints. The owners were up bright and early with us to make sure we got our taxi, and the staff were incredible as always. Such a warm and cozy place to stay. Don’t forget to check out the spa. Highly recommended--our first choice in Bermuda + My husband and I spent 6 nights at Pompano during June 2026. It was our 4th or 5th stay. Pompano remains our first choice for Bermuda. The Lamb family clearly is still in charge of this resort, involved in every aspect of the property. It's not uncommon to see them at the desk, stacking towels or pouring run swizzles at the Monday night gathering. Many of the staff have been here for many, many years, and they are a huge asset. The mean plan could not be better, providing a yummy breakfast (sometimes buffet, sometimes not) and 5 course dinner daily. My biggest problem was that I could not eat all 5 courses! Alcohol is not included, but the drink prices are surprisingly affordable. We enjoyed both the pool and the beach. We also used the spa; we both had 2 massages, and they were among the best we have ever had--at a reasonable price. Wonderful hospitality, food and beach + This was our third 10 day stay at Pompano and we had a wonderful time . The beach is wonderful. Small waves , plenty of chairs, helpful attendant. The food is well prepared and the offerings are food you’ve had so easy to find satisfaction. Great onion straws! The menu changes daily. The MAP pricing assures no surprises. Perfect place for families with a large pool and great game room . The staff makes you feel like family and really look after you. We will be back!
