+ Muy buena ubicación, onsen público y desayuno muy bueno. Todo el personal muy amable y servicial. Te prestan un kimono para salir por Takayama si lo deseas y un yukata para bajar al onsen.

Autentica esperienza + Ryokan molto accogliente. Lo staff è molto gentile e ospitale! Ci hanno aiutato ad indossare gli Iukata prima di uscire a cena! Nel prepararci i letti per la notte ci hanno anche fatto scegliere un’aroma per profumare la stanza. La sera nella zona comune offrono sake e te caldo. Bagno privato top anche se l’acqua non è termale. Colazione Giapponese assolutamente da provare!

Pleasant stay, but not quite what we expected. + Excellent location, with very friendly and helpful staff. A great bonus is the on-site onsen, available for guests to use during their stay. − The property didn’t feel particularly authentic to us; it felt a little too curated and designed around tourists rather than offering a truly local experience. The beds were also not particularly comfortable, and unfortunately, the breakfast was very disappointing in terms of both quality and selection.

Staff premuroso, tutti i servizi, posizione vicinissima alla stazione, colazione con ampia scelta, onsen privato e pubblico entrambi ben fatti. Tutto si è conservato bene. − 13 anni fa ho avuto possibilità di cenare, con una ragazza dedicata alla spiegazione dei piatti e di come mangiarli (era sukiyaki). Esperienza fantastica che spero riprendano a fare visto che questa volta non è stato possibile

Decepcionante + El desayuno − El hotel está bien pero no para el precio que tiene. El Onsen privado se tiene que reservar y no tuvimos disponibilidad. Además no ofrecen cenas. Para mí fue decepcionante.

Large, tourist-friendly ryokan in a good location + The rooms are large and very clean, and the public baths are excellent. We also appreciated the complimentary tea, sake and plum wine in reception every evening. The location of the hotel is good, close to the station and only 10 mins walk from the centre of Takayama. We also enjoyed the yukatas provided with every room. Staff were friendly and helpful. − This ryokan wasn't really what we expected - it is very large, with guest rooms over 3 floors, and oriented towards families of tourists (e.g. complimentary origami activities in reception which gave it a bit of a youth hostel vibe), and a bit old-fashioned. Although clean and comfortable, the rooms and common areas are not luxurious, and the decor and fittings in the rooms were quite dated, especially the bathrooms. Generally, we thought it was a bit over-priced for what it was. They also offered us to get breakfast in the hotel for 3000Y, which is very expensive compared to what y…

Gran estancia + Todos los detalles que hacían que te sintieras en un alojamiento tradicional, el onsen privado fue toda una experiencia y el desayuno era perfecto, nos alojamos 3 noches y para no repetir pedimos desayuno japonés, occidental y otra vez japonés, el segundo día de japonés en vez de poner lo mismo lo variaron por lo que no se hace repetitivo. El trato de todo el personal fue muy bueno − Todo era genial

+ Wonderful stay with an authentic Japanese feel A charming hotel located on a quiet and peaceful street. Everything had a beautiful traditional Japanese feel, and we were even provided with yukatas, which was a lovely touch. Our room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable. What made our stay truly special was the staff — they went above and beyond to make us happy and ensure we had everything we needed. Simply amazing. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel!
