+ The staff was kind and helpful! The rooms were very clean and smelled good. The pool was wonderful. It was very large, and the temperature was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and we loved the Otis Spunkmeyer cookies! We will definitely stay here again when we come to Grand Rapids! − Nothing

The experience was ok. + Location was good. Staff was very friendly upon checking. We got texts throughout our stay checking in to see if we needed anything. Breakfast staff was exceptionally attentive to keeping the area clean all morning. Room was clean upon entering. There was plenty of space in the room for my family. − The air conditioning unit had two modes that it cycled through all day/night long- off (making the room hot) and blasting (making the room freezing cold). It made it difficult to get a good night's rest. We also went to the pool each day and I noticed trash in the same location multiple days in a row, which made me question the facilities cleanliness.

− Only thing I didn’t like was we got cold later in the night and decided to turn the heat on and then it started smelling like something was burning and it smelled really bad so we had to turn the air off but we were definitely concerned for a minute that the smoke alarms would go off

+ The amenities were great, the hotel closeness to food was perfect. My kids loved the pool and arcade! The breakfast options were perfect as well. Beautiful hotel! − The electric plug behind nightstand was ripped off but we had other means to charge our electronics. The pillows were "hotel pillows" but was definitely NOT a dealbreaker.
